I thought twice about posting that and then thought, hey this is a golf tournament we are discussing, of course this fits in with golf talk. I'd use that line on a missed putt, but coming from him would be better.

I agree the whole thing was bit bush league by whoever purposely threw that cut on air, but I would hope by now "enough time" has passed to not get too butt hurt by these types of jokes.

Although I can imagine that he hears that 20 times every single round of golf he plays, which could get a little old I guess.

I'm a bigger fan of RM since that incident.

Malcolmk's course is River Spirit. One of the nicest courses to play in the city.

Id love to come down from Edmonton. I just had surgery on my achilles and need to rehab, so the later the date the better. Should be ok by June (hopefully).

I love golfing but am not that good though.

Depending on the proceeds, a great prize wouldbe a travel credit with Westjet to useto fly to a flames game in phoenix or anaheim. It would have to be a door prize to protect the integrity of the competition though.

If its held on a Sunday, no one is going to drink and enjoy themselves for fear of hangover / work the next day.

So I'm an idiot, I couldn't do Sunday the 23rd as we will be celebrating my daughters 1st birthday. Don't think I can wiggle out of that commitment!

The days I suggested aren't the only days available. We can pretty much do any weekend. Maybe we can change the poll to Saturday May 18, Saturday May 25, Sunday June 9, Sunday June 23, Sunday June 30 and allow people to choose more than one option on the poll.

The month of May can be quite iffy when it comes to weather. June tends to be warmer and less iffy in regards to possible snow and wet weather.
