I freaking loved that show and it only got two short seasons. It could have been HBO's Californication.

Another vote for Sledgehammer.
Also, the live action Tick.

I'm big into the superhero animated stuff, and I always feel those series are taken off the air way too quickly. Prime examples of this include Wolverine and the X-Men and Justice League. Even the recent Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes cartoon was decent, but it was canned after just two seasons. They were building up for the Civil War storyline in the third season, something I was quite looking forward to.
These get replaced with garbage kiddy cartoons like Ultimate Spider-Man and the New Avengers cartoon that I assume will suck. None of these compare to Batman TAS, but I still like going through a season in a weekend every so often. Now I can't find a single superhero cartoon worth watching.

Forgot to add The Critic. Not really a great show, but it did have some of the whit and humor that The Simpsons had, so it should have lasted a few more seasons.

The only time I heard about that show is when I found out they were apparently going to be doing a season based around the Age of Apocalypse. Then it was cancelled.
That would have been a fantastic story arc to turn into a full season of animation. Shame it didn't happen.

Stargate Universe was so freakin good, the potential to be an amazing series and it was snatched out from under us.
Sledgehammer if you go back in watch it now will be disappointing, don't do what I did and rewatch it again.
Would like to ad Battlestar Galactica, and of course one of my favorites, that had a rushed season 2 due to cancellation and had many years of great stories to tell is Jericho.

Are we talking the old 80s (maybe 90s? I don't recall.) Sledgehammer? Or was there a remake?

Last month, I re-watched all the episodes of "Better Off Ted." Loved that show.
Sarah Conner Chronicles.

Yeah the 80s show, it was my favorite as a kid, we managed to find the series on VHS and video and sound downtown in the mid 90s and a bunch of us watched it all over the weekend, sadly it was much funnier as kids, now it was just a chuckle here and there.

A second vote for Greg the Bunny. Had a lot of the subtle humour like what you would find in Community. At the time Fox was fond of taking shows and putting them beside the Simpsons, then after a couple of weeks moving them again. Greg the Bunny was moved twice before it was cancelled.

I was really liking '666 Park Avenue' this year but it got cancelled.
Also like the HBO show 'Tell Me You Love Me' which was extremely risky and pretty shocking.
Also, loved 'Brothers and Sisters'- totally bummed when it got cancelled.
