Keep your eye on #27. It won't be difficult, I can assure you.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K7YDx...ature=youtu.be
He's not a Center, but how do you NOT draft this kid if you have a shot at him?

Wouldn't be surprised if Drouin ends up being the best forward in the draft. He has great hockey sense and is a fantastic player. He was awesome at the World Juniors and is having a fantastic season as well.

You saw the same level of determination and competitiveness in the World Jrs., that's why he eventually moved up to play on the 1st line. He has sick skill, but the all out effort puts him over.
 Drouin over Mackinnon.

One of the slickest, most skilled forwards I've seen at the WJC in his draft year. What a great draft this is gonna be

Yeah, Sportsnet panel said he looks pretty Datsyukian, and I'd agree with that.

Iginla might be the last player he reminds me of. Weird comparison.

The way he dominated with the puck down low. I felt that was very Iggy like.

A season ending injury for Drouin wouldn't be a bad thing for the Flames. That way he might end up dropping to 4th or 5th where we might end up picking. I just don't see us finishing in the bottom 3 this season (barring trades or injuries).

Drouin is filthy, no doubt. But if we have the option, you have to take MacKinnon. Successful teams are built up the middle. Wingers are luxuries. Given we just iced a team with one natural center in the lineup, when the possibility exists to take a franchise one, you don't second guess for a skilled winger. Especially when you already have Sven already, and Gaudreau coming, in addition to the high priced wingers you already have on the roster.
That said, if Drouin goes to us, I'll be thrilled. Just not at the expense of MacKinnon

There are many great and super talented prospects but there are very few with who match it with the competitive fire and sheer determination that you see from Drouin in that shift and all throughout this year.
You only see that desire in the very very best. It's reminiscent of Crosby and Forsberg.

I'd take him 1st overall and deal Sven or Johnny for a no. 1 centre if I have to.
