How can it be boarding when Giordano didn't hit the boards?
Charging, sure, I'll listen to that argument.

As much as i love Babchuk he shouldn't be on the first unit pp just yet. Put him on the 2nd unit and put Brodie with Wideman.

The team has no confidence in Irving. It's partly justified and partly their own fault.
Chicken & egg problem.

Just gotta keep it up. I don't have any praise until, and only until, we get 2 points.

Flames had a good period. Outworked Dallas and generated some quality chances.

that was a bad tripping penalty called on Bouwmeester but it should have never come to that point. If he would have taken a hit to get the puck out instead of chickening out then having to battle for it he wouldn't have been in that spot. he had lots of time to get it out.

Can't complain about anything that frame, the Flames played quite well. Not amazing but they did everything right that they needed to do. What I can complain about is the officials... this is just getting silly how laughably bad the NHL officiating is.
If they play like that for the next 40 they will leave with 2 points.

So we have the third best powerplay in the league without Babchuck in it, so why change it???? Just have no use for that guy

I like the road Flames a lot better than home Flames this year so far.

Excellent first period. Nothing to complain about, other than the fact that they're still trying too hard to make the pretty play in the offensive zone. Just shoot the damn puck!

Morrow deserves a penalty for general d-baggery if nothing else.
What the coaching staff apparently sees in Butler is beyond me...

I only seen it once, but I thought his head hit the boards awkwardly after he got hit?
