It'll be nice to see someone out there with a little bit of jump to their game. Best of luck Byron, make the most of it.

Well at least Byron knows what he has to do after we put him on waivers earlier this year.

Nice. Byron adds a lot of speed to the line-up when they have looked really slow over the last little while. Wish Horak was still up here though.

I hope Byron makes himself a permanent addition to the lineup with his play.

Needed Byron's speed. With Backlund and Baertschi out this team got remarkably slower.

I said in other thread....I like Paul Byron.

Good speed, and works hard.

I hope he takes this opportunity and runs with it.

Me too.

He looked good in the first dozen games he played for us last year but then trailed off. I'm not a huge believer in Byron but would love to be proven wrong and see him become an NHL'er.

I thought Street played well last night and could have really rounded into form given a couple more games, so it sucks to see him headed back to Abby so soon. The playoffs are a pipe dream this year so I'd rather the Flames just give their young guys as much playing time as possible to develop them.

Excellent. Sorry Street, but I'd prefer to have a player in the line-up who has scored an NHL goal before. Hoping Byron takes this opportunity and runs with it.

Just an odd comment, what's your point with this?

Paul Byron has 4 NHL goals. At one point he had zero too.

He's got great speed but I think I would have prefered Horak... just a better all around game.

He should address the lack of grit in the line up.

Cammy slated to come back as well this makes the roster look a lot better for tomorrow night.

Any word on Baerchi besides the week to week update?

More Flames size. Smallest team in the league just got smaller.

Well yesterday he was practicing with the team with a no contact jersey on, so he's good enough to skate, which is always a good sign.

Sorry, I should elaborate. Byron is 2 years younger and has played in 30 NHL games (7 points) vs. Street's 2 games (0 points). Byron also has 122 points in the AHL vs. Street's 111.

Just my opinion, but Byron is younger and has been able to crack an NHL lineup before while Street seems like he is a career AHLer. I also like Byron's hands and speed more.

Ben is Streets behind Byron.

Will be interesting to see how a guy like Byron fares in Hartley's up tempo system which should suit him much better than Ward & Brent's defense first, offense stifling systems.
