Anyways, I don't seem to get NBC Boston. The only NBC stations I get are West and East and East is blacked out because I don't have the timeshift package.
Oh well, I only got Centre Ice to watch the Flames anyways. I should be able to see all of their games as I'm in the Vancouver area.

The cofred.ca site should be ready soon. Burnsidet is setting it up. The rest of us will be putting in those channels.
For now, each game will be posted in the "What channel is the game on" thread and tomorrow's game is listed.

That's excellent news to hear!
I had cofred.ca as a regularly visited site. As in every morning.
Now that I have Centre Ice for the first time, I'll be using it big time.

Anyone on Bell know where the NHL Centre Ice Multivu thing is? I can't find it anywhere.
Also, on Bell nothing has been blacked out. Centre Ice channels are just showing the NBC feeds for both games.

The blackout is affecting Shaw only.

Question for you tv experts, I may be moving to BC soon from Calgary , not trying to be shady or ask ilegally which I might be , in that case please just let me know.
Say I have satellite, either Bell or Shaw Direct, and I install the dish in Vancouver but don't call the company , will I continue to get the flames/oilers sportsnet games ? Is this highly illegal or just a bit shady. Does anyone do it?

actually an interesting question... i would assume there would be some sort of detection of where the dish is, and it would detect it not being in the right province/city and not even work, but not sure how that would actually function.

Wow, so happy to see that gamecenter loads so slowly I'm forced to use an illegal stream. Also I tried it on my PS3 and they want me to buy a new version of the app (I assumed it was a one time buy for $10). Even if I wanted to purchase the app AGAIN, it's not yet available.
Great job NHL gamecenter team. Glad you spent the lockout getting the service ready.

Seriously messed up here as well. I cannot log in at all on my X360 and using my computer all of the games that are starting shortly are showing as blacked out WTF International customers should not be blacked out as we have no national coverage.
They better sort this or I am cancelling.

Welcome to the club, BO for me in Czech republic too. Told on chat of GCL, every broadcasted game via Nova sport will be BO. This week they told me no BO for Europe, such a shame!!!!Disgusted with GCL right now, nothing works.

You need either one of the newer black Motorola DCX boxes or the Arris Gateway. The old DCT series and (I believe) all the Pace boxes won't work. Shaw did at some point offer free or highly subsidized swaps of older boxes to the MPEG-4 boxes to CI subscribers, not sure if they do now. I'd call them if you plan to subscribe, maybe they can do something for you.

Is nova sport one of your satellite channels or something?
Terrible service all round for the start of the season. We better not have this problem tomorrow night for the flames game

Yup you have to have a MPEG-4 box to have center ice. They change it for free if you call them. At least they did last year.

Yup. Upgraded my downstairs box for free. Even though I bought the out dated box 2 years ago.
Just took a bit of complaining.

How does centre ice decide which broadcast to show. Not that it matters but my wife was asking.

Do you mind me asking which outlet? I just spoke with Shaw over the phone and the best the gentleman would offer me is a $100 credit off of the purchase price of each new box (ie $350 to $250 per box). I have two old DCT boxes that would need to be upgraded.
