He needs to apologize unequivocally and publicly to every team-mate and friend that he threw under the bus.

When I saw the headline today, "Lance Armstrong to Come Clean on Oprah", I thought, "Worst porn ever".

Exactly. To me the cheating isn't even the issue. The entire Tour is doped up, even the Olympians, and I am sure our guy that won the Giro was. The performance level these guys are at, it is simply impossible each and every single one of them isn't doping.
My issue is how he steamrolled so many people, and ran so many people through the mud, protecting his lies. I wonder, if he truly comes clean, if he is going to open himself up to defamation lawsuits? I hope he does. Crap, I feel like he owes me 3 grand. I cannot get on my Trek Madone without feeling dirty knowing he was the d-nozzle repping the brand.

Before Lance there was Ben Johnson. Still pisses me off that he was the poster boy for everything wrong in the performance drug world. Everyone on that line was drugged up, he was the fastest.

it's not always about cheating, it's about having the edge on the competion.
When the NHL players started competing in the olympics, they got a surprize about what was not allowed in olympic competition vs an NHL game. If memory serves Sudafed(tm) was something NHLers regulary took before a game ( clears up nasal passages for better breathing during game) but is a banned substance for olympic competition.

they have been many, many, many, others besides ben Johnson and Armstrong, Including american sprinters who used a designer steroid ( the BALCO scandal), 1984 olympic cyclist team who tried blood doping.
Then there are the three baseball players (bonds clements, sosa).
And these are just the folks who got caught pushing for a performance edge.

That and it's ephedrine, which will make you want to run through a brick wall. There's a good reason it's banned.

Ephedrine will hardly make you run through a brick wall. The moment you take enough to start feeling like a champion, you also start getting the negative effects of the high that would make playing a sport pretty difficult.
A caffiene pill would be more effective for sports if you don't get too dehydrated from it.

I'm on Ephedrine as we speak and I don't want to run through a wall or have any effects/negative or positive of a high. The caffeine pill I'm on makes me a bit jittery but I don't drink coffee and a cup a coffee does the same thing.

Whatever you say, I was stupid enough to pop ephedrine pills before rugby and hockey games. I know what it made me feel like.

Are you speaking from experience, or do you believe this to be true.
I have seen plenty of guys in rugby dressing rooms take the stuff, maybe valo403 was one. I also know it is/was used in hockey a lot as well. My mate did some time in the Q and he used it.

I take it everyday as stated above and I don't feel like I can take down a brick wall or have withdrawal symptoms

And maybe someone will offer him 6 figures to name each and every rider on the circuit that did dope, he might possibly become a billionare!
Point is. they all did it..and that means everyone near the top..It was part of the sport...who the f#$k cares?
