I imagine that for those of us who didn't make playoffs we'll just wait until the weeks advance to the offseason when we can re-sign, do drafting, etc?
Also, how does drafting work? I really can't see it being a situation where we all are on at the same time.

Battle of Alberta for western final, and the eastern final matchup is a rematch of last year's quarterfinals matchup.

No biggie, but Calgary rank at the top should be 2. not 1.

The "Red Mile" should be the place to be in Calgary tonight as the Flames beat the Panthers 3 straight in the stanley cup final. Given the injuries to Rene Bourque and Loui Erikkson, who were both playing on the top line, missed all the playoffs and the Flames needed guys to step up in their absence. Vrbata and Ryder helped out tremendously. Evgeni Malkin took his game to another level in the playoffs and carried the team on his back. He was awarded the Conn Smythe trophy scoring 24 points in the 14 games in the playoffs. As odd as it may sound, we also have to mention the play of Devan Dubnyk, who was absolutely sensational in the playoffs. Talk about stepping up and taking over. After the first round, he never really let anything past him. The Flames did have some goal support, even though it wasn't really needed. The city of Calgary has to be proud of these guys, the way they carried through all the adversity they had to deal with, with the injuries of key players on their hockey club. They did tremendous. Hats off to the Florida Panthers for a tremendous fight in the finals. Congrat's Calgary, the cup is yours again, just like it should've been in '04. Goodnight all and see you next season.

Hell yeah!
So when are we advancing the schedule to the offseason? I'm gone until the 26th and want to make sure I get to do what I need to do.

Congrats to rcgloe on winning it all this season! Hopefully the same result happens in reality sooner rather than later.
Anyway with that, my tenture as league commisoner is over, and Zukes is the new sheriff in town. I've enjoyed my time in this league with you all, and wish you all the best of luck in it going forward. Thanks for the fun times and Merry Christmas!

I will address when we advance in the very near future, I'd like to find out what kind of numbers we have and see if there is a consensus for any changes to be made.

Anyone else find is fitting that a league created by Flames fans awarded the stanley cup to the Flames. Almost seems to fitting. Congrats RGloe.

Way to go Gloe! The Flames win the Cup! The Flames win the Cup! (I could type that all day)
Congrats to Djcloudz, for coming in mid season taking the Panthers who were a bottom team in the league to a playoff berth, then all the way to the Cup finals.
