Airmiles new policy is to charge ~14 cents per airmile when you transfer. This used to be a great way to aquire airmiles, or get rid of one's you'll never use, but no more.

I think transfer fee is actually 15cents a mile

Considering they're worth ~10c on regular stuff and up to ~17c on flights, its hardly worth the transfer fee now.
