I like that they appear to have attempted to use punctuation, but in stereotypical Philly fashion they have used it at a 3rd grade level.

Glad Foles looked ok. Some plays were great others not so much. Can't really expect too much with an O line that is practically useless.

12 Jets players say that Tebow sucks and is terrible.
http://espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/stor...ed-report-says
Even though I agree, that is pretty embarassing to say things like that to the media about a teammate especially if you aren't going to attach your name to it. I still can't believe Sanchez/Tebow is a QB combo. Talk about terrible.

It's not just Tebow either as they're ripping on coaching and the receivers. Tebow is the main outlet and symbol of a fractured and dysfunctional team.
I've never seen a team in more dire need of cutting/trading/firing every single person and starting from scratch.

Tebow doesn't fit the culture of the team and that adds why he is being singled out.
There was a report a few weeks ago (a month ago?) where they said Tebow was he most instrumental in bringing the locker room together.
Truth is somewhere in between.
The cure all is to start winning some games/meet expectations

Tebow took a 1-4 team last year into the playoffs. And then won a playoff game. Ya, he sucks.
The Jets have not even given him a chance, how can you say he sucks or he can't lead that team? Just because Dirty Sanchez has a following on that team doesn't mean that Tebow sucks. I have a feeling that if Tebow was given a chance and he won a couple games everyone on that team would jump on the bandwagon pretty quick

Fyp
Also unlikely that Tebow would do any better than Sanchez and likely would do worse with the team that the Jets have around him. No defense or Matt Prater to bail him out on his 3 and out drives.

Impossible. He couldn't do worse.
You can't score negative points in a game
I'm a Tebow fan, but I don't think he would change the mess of the Jets team if he started. That team is beyond repair. They need to clean house, from the owner to the water boys.

Goddamnit. Stop giving no credit to the Broncos D and the kicker Prater. That's the only reason Tebow even had a chance to have one decent drive per game while sucking for 3/4 of it.

I wonder why the backup is being ripped apart? He's not the one that is starting and looks like a college freshman that dates 17 year olds.

Tebow will never be a "quarterback" in the normal sense. However what has made Tim so much worse of a passer is the pros changing his throwing motion. Leave it be, he did fine at UF and would do okay in the NFL. The thing that Tim has going for him is his unrelentless refusal to lose, something that the whole team has pretty much accepted.
Tim played like crap because of the terrible coaching while in Denver, he wasn't given a real game plan to suit his talents until the OC realized that his garbage isn't working and to let Tim do his thing.
The OC looks good now because he doesn't have to do crap when the best OC in the game is also the new QB in Denver.

That's not how I saw it play out.
How were those games against Bills and Patriots late in the season? Was that OC fault, or Tebow simply not being up to the challenge of a D that could contain him?

One thing Tebow did terrible since I watched him at Florida was reading defenses. He still struggles and that will be the hardest thing for him to overcome

Other things Tebow can't do:
-Throw an accurate pass
-Refine his throwing motion to be something that you can't time on a sun dial
-Be an NFL starting quarterback
I supported the hell out of him while he was in Denver and now? Now I don't have to lie to myself anymore and it's beautiful. He is not an NFL quarterback. He was a fantastic college quarterback though and good for him, that is quite an accomplishment.
I guess it's just a coincidence that 30 GM's and head coaches wanted nothing to do with such an amazing NFL caliber quarterback when he was on the market though right? You got the sideshow Jets and his "please come to our football games" hometown Jaguars that were interested, that was it. If you can't beat out Mark Sanchez you cannot start in the NFL. Ever.

I am not sure there is anything more overrated in sports than sentiments like this.
Sure there are plenty of guys who loaf and take plays off out there but for the most part guys want to win (or not lose) just as much as Tebow.
It sure wasn't his unrelentless refusal to win that forced Barber to fumble or step out of bounds, it wasn't what made Prater kick all those long FG's. What happened to it in the games against the decent teams he played against in 2011?
He certainly has a strong personality and is able to pump up his teammates but so do a lot of guys.

I honeslty don't care what he does in the nfl, I'm just tired of the witch hunt that people have for a backup QB

Would Bowlen just hire this guy already so he can teach John Elway how to evaluate quarterbacks!
