Could you just buy it at the duty-free in Vegas?
- - - edit - - -
If it's a connecting flight, you shouldn't be going thru security in Seattle. You'll go thru security in Edmonton only, if it's anything like Calgary...

I am pretty sure booze at a store in vegas is cheaper than duty free.

Not when you are arriving; especially when arriving on a domestic flight.

A better way is just to disable the French keyboard entirely, in control panel, under regional options

You won't have to do security again in Seattle.
Also, if you have a decent layover stop at Ivar's and get the clam chowder soup in a bread bowl.

Quick question: I was looking at Google Map, and found that there is a tiny canal that starts from around Max Bell Arena in the SE, then loops around the Foothills Industrial Park, and eventually ends up at Chestermere Lake. Is there a name for that canal? And what is it for?

You pretty much answered your second question in your question. It supplies water to Lake Chestermere, which in turn supplies water to the Western Irrigation District.

Water is diverted from the Bow into the canal at the weir, it then makes its way to Chestermere, which has two outlets that supply water to farms east of Calgary for irrigation.
I can't find any reference to a name for the canal.

Irrigation channel? There's a bike path that runs alongside which hardly anybody uses. Nice way to get out to Chestermere.

That's the "irrigation ditch", or that's what my teenaged self called it when I spent a large amount of time riding my bike up and down it as a kid.

Why is a 59 month closed mortgage rate so much lower than a 60 month (5 year) one? Is there a catch?

It's called the "Main Canal".
My father used to work for WID; he was responsible for "C Canal"
