It was not a bad throw, or route. He audibles. It's an easy button hook for a first down.
The fact that you are thinking that Tebow would provide an upgrade over Peyton Manning who is coming off 3 straight great games, future hall of famer, to a guy that can't even start over Mark Sanchez. W/L's for a QB are the same as W/L for a pitcher in baseball. They mean next to nothing.

I don't think you understand football very much. A qb can throw the ball right into a defenders lap AND its the WR's fault. It happens much more often than most people think.

Sanchez has started and played the out right majority of all the Jets games this year. On Sunday Tebow's throw and completion on a fake punt put away the Colts.
Say what you want about Tebow, the fact is if the Broncos do worse than 8-8 then Elway should be skidded. So far I feel sorry for the Broncos fans. Your 1st round pick was thrown away on huge gamble that has yet to pay off and it may just be the worst move in Broncos franchise history.

Their schedule is brutal, but even so I think they will better 8-8. Quite frankly, Elway has done a wonderful job of undoing everything the firing of Shanahan did.
That was the worst 2 years of being a Broncos fan that I can remember, and that's going back 33 years.

Think what you need to justify Elways decision. At the end of the season it's all about the W's. If the Broncos have less than 8 Elway loses big on the gamble.

Vernon, explain how Keeping Tim Tebow over Peyton Manning is a better option, so you can enlighten the rest of us. Give multiple reasons. At least if you can do that and they're reasonable claims, it doesn't look like you're just here to act as a troll.

I agree. However trading the first round pick for a 4th could be his undoing.

No he does not. Manning is not retiring after this season. They've had the hardest schedule in football. Manning has paid off just fine for them, he's been great. Elite level quarterback.

The fact that Tebow was a 1st round pick means nothing. Also, you fail to realize, NO TEAM WAS OFFERING ANY MORE FOR TIM TEBOW. This was not a market lined with teams ready to turn over the keys for him. 4th round pick was the best he could land them and not one team in the entire NFL was willing to let Tebow come in to start. End of story

No, it absolutely could not.
Drafting Tebow in the first round might have been McDaniel's undoing though.

Back to the actual football talk, my goodness does having Kuper back make a huge difference.

Hey, TD Broncos! Hopefully they make it a game. As bad as their play in the first half of games this year has been they have been good in the second half. Good at adjustments but no good at gameplanning?
Sorry don't let me interrupt. Please go back to arguing about a backup QB.

How good does Peyton Manning look when he gets protection? My god, his numbers are incredibly strong this season, imagine how good they'd be if he had players making plays around him this season.

The main reason would be Tebow is a dynamic player who is tough to play against. Manning is one dimensional. Shut down the run and you know what he's going to do. Hey, time will tell on this move by Elway. Manning brings the broncos a Super Bowl then Elway is a hero. The Broncos go 6-10 and Manning retires then Elway loses his gamble. Time will tell. So far the second option looks more likely...

That's trolling at a level I can't even cope with. Back to football talk.
Biggest flaw on this Broncos team is the brutal pass rush. Nothing up the middle, which makes it next to impossible to get anything off the edge. They've created next to nothing in regards to pressure on the QB and teams pick them apart.

Dynamic player who is tough to play against?
Bwahahahaha
Good teams last year found him very easy to play against.
As a Lions fan I hope we get to play against Teblow every week, it was a joy last season.

The Colts team he took to the Super Bowl had the 32nd ranked running game. And why does it look likely that Peyton will retire?

Tebow is very one dimensional. Peyton actually is versatile since he can beat you with his smarts and make use of his legs at time to buy time for receivers. If you're gonna say Tebow is better than Peyton in that regard, then you're also saying Tebow is better than Brady, Brees, Rodgers, ect.
All you need to do is keep Tebow in the pocket. Eliminate his first two reads and he'll panic and try to run into a wall. That's what happened against Pats, Bills, Lions.
But if he's so great, than why is Sanchez considered the better player to the Jets coaching staff?
EDIT: Oh FFS, where's is the god damn focus with this team? Missed an easy fumble recovery.
