Gerry Dobson said on twitter that there would be no stream. I'm not sure why they wouldn't. Sportsnet subscribers are not going to cancel their cable service because of one game being available legally online. And because a tremendous amount of viewers will be at work during the game, they wouldn't be watching from home anyway and wouldn't be boosting ad numbers anyway.

If ever there was a game to stream that would have zero negative impact on anything, it is this one. People will either not watch it at all or will find it online somewhere else, so Sportsnet gets fewer viewers (TV and web combined).

Consider me stunned to not see any involvement in the cement business. The olive oil company guy can't be for real can he?

I'm going to try and ditch work early for this one. If that doesn't work then I'll PVR it I guess.

Must have changed his name from Corleone because it was just a little too obvious?

C'mon Canada....tomorrow would be arguably the biggest win for the MNT since 1997 and the last appearance in the final group for France '98.

The Gold Cup after that was great but means nothing compared to the chance to get into the final group for the WC, where hopefully anything can happen.

If not, once again sets back soccer in Canada a couple steps again. Players retire, coaches may leave. Players on the bubble that have that choice, opt for another country. The CSA continues to wallow in self pity. All just as happened in 2001, 2005 and 2009. A one game to get into that final group is closer then those last 3 iterations ever achieved, and I am sure this team would've taken when the qualifying started way back when.

Withhold the barrage of Honduran players and charged up fans for the first 20 minutes...create some chances and get the Hondurans pushing before half. If could sneak a goal in somehow in the first half, the doors may come off the Honduran wagon. Tied at the half is fine though. Avoid the piss bags flying from the terraces early in the second half after the halftime drinks and then strike back on the counter attack as Honduras pushes 9 forward.

Normally I would be praising the team for getting further in the 3rd round than in the last dozen years, but if they don't pick up a tie, I just won't be able to look at the qualification round objectivel. I'm actually kind of glad I'm in meetings during most of the game, otherwise goodbye productivity.

Longest....24 hours....ever.

Arash Madani (@ArashMadani) tweeted at 8:02 AM on Tue, Oct 16, 2012:
There was no ruckus with Honduras supporters at the #CANMNT hotel last night. No fireworks. No sirens. The stadium today, a different story.

yeah it's probably Canada's biggest game since Canada-Mexico 1993 at Varsity.

People often mention the road to 1998 but there weren't any big matches. They cruised through this round but then lost too early in the HEX. No drama.

Add to that : "totally distracted". I don't often get sidetracked like this, but every time I try and focus on something here at work, I find my mind wandering.
