Wouldn't you know it, next week it's 49ers vs Giants. Manning is the trump card in all of this as he's the most proven and still the best QB on each team.

I think the only question is if MNF will catch the 10k reception live.

There's a good chance they will be late to cut back to action on the field between showing the circus act of Tebow, Sanchez and/or Ryan on the sidelines after every play, looking for some sort of facial expression or hand gesture from one them which they will analyze for the next 5 minutes.

As for Manning, again i understand he is still the smartest QB in the game, but physically his throws are not anywhere near where he once was. Clearly his neck issues are affecting his throwing ability, as those deep balls literally wobble. I will agree though that even with that issue, he is still among the best in the business.
He's going to make one hell of a great offensive coordinator when he's done.

Even though I'm impartial, being a vikings fan I made the mistake of wearing all red tonight. I'm not alone though lots of Texans fans. I did wear a Winnipeg jets cap however.

Sanchez is going to get killed again on twitter and in the media tonight but my lord, has there been a worst supporting cast in the last decade of football then the one he will have tonight? The leagues worst starting running back, a below average offensive line and no offensive weapons. I'm not sure even Tom Brady or Peyton Manning could make this Jets offense work tonight.

Good for Ryan to try that onside kick. ets are hanging in there but not being able to recover that kick just destroyed any momentum

Oh I hope Cushing isn't done for the year. That would be such a huge blow for this D.

Without Holmes, that Jets WR group is as bad as any in the NFL.

Got really excited yesterday when I saw Kris Kuper walk out as a captain for the coin toss. He's active...he's going to play...no more Manny Ramirez!!!

He didn't play, and it showed.

If the Broncos could hold onto the freaking ball they might have a shot to do something this year.

As for the Patriots, I can't fathom how they lost the 2 games they did.

Gruden compares Watt to Reggie White and Warren Sapp and without joking says "I agree with Wade Phillips, he's a Hall Of Fame candidate."

Let's slow it down just a tad.

I agree though Gruden is always over the top about guys.

Gotta say though, Watt is a freakin stud.

Ya Gruden loves to get a little over excited.

Watt has been our MVP thus far though.

This game affirms what I have been telling friends who are Texans fans all year. You haven't beaten anyone worth a damn. They are definitely a playoff team, but they are nowhere near the best team in the NFL.

Well it's not like they took on a terrible defense.

Can only beat who we play. Who is better? Saying they are nowhere near the best is ridiculous as they are easily top 5 in the league.

I'm not surprised the Jets put up a fight at home coming off a really bad loss. The three teams who've beat them, Pittsburgh, San Francisco, and Houston are far from push overs.

Houston will be tested the next couple of weeks here with Green Bay and Baltimore. The Packers really can't afford to lose that game either, so that will be a legitimate test.

Right now I still think Houston, Baltimore, and New England are well ahead of the other AFC teams. So for that reason I think you want to be the top seed in the AFC. Get home field, and what should be a cleaner road to the championship game.

In the NFC I still think SF is the best team. Atlanta has won a few closer games, but I don't know if they could slug it out with San Fran. The NFC West so far seems the best Division with two teams at 4-1, and the others at 3-2, and 3 of those losses being Division games. So that should give the Falcons an edge for home field as they should post a 5-1 Division record. If Minnesota wins again this week and Green Bay can't the North Gets much more intriguing. As for the East...it's pretty even, but all teams have issues. Philly has a really good D, but they'll go nowhere turning the ball over like they do. The Giants D is still a bit sketchy, the Cowboys eventually do themselves in, and Wash won't keep RG3 healthy for the full season.

Well I think New England, Atlanta, San Fran, Baltimore definitely have a better shot of winning it all. They will have to beat Baltimore to make a believer out of me and think that they are for sure better than Pittsburgh, the Giants and Chicago.

What a huge blow for the Houston D if true.

It does appear to be a torn ACL for Brian Cushing, but he is having an MRI tomorrow in Houston and #Texans won't know for sure until then.
