it's not fun anymore, tons of loading screens, annoying and inconsistent A.I.
Is that specific enough. The game just is not fun anymore

Relative to last year? What modes?
I haven't noticed any difference in loading screens in Be a GM, and as for A.I. there are still issues but it's greatly improved over last year.

Online vs. and EASHL. Last game I played Ovechkin hacked at my face until I fell down, took the puck and fought off 4 or 5 checks, atleast 10 poke checks as I was skating directly beside him and then scores a wrister from the perimeter to win it as the Caps got 11 shots to my 42. Where is the fun in that? The game just decides, nope, you can't win. If you like the game you're obviously going to defend it, I've played many games and enjoyed absolutely none of them. It's insulting to play with actual strategy and outshoot the opponent with decent scoring chances only to get tripped and have stupid goals go in.

So your issues are gameplay based? Believe me I have had that happen to me too - see my post up there, outshooting the crap out of people by playing a cycle game and dominating puck possession, only to have 0 of my 30+ shots go in. Have had some frustrating games. But first, I think they'll use tuners to fix some of that, and second, a lot of the frustrating issues are a byproduct of trying to get used to a totally overhauled system of gameplay.

I tried it again just to try and get some of my moneys worth and the game is way worse than I thought at first. Parts of the mechanics are completely broken, especially the hitting, hipcheck a guy on his head and he gets up with the puck and scores. Getting the puck 0% of the time you hit a guy is pathetic game mechanics. I laid out maybe 30 hits and got the puck not once.
Worst part so far I try to go the corner with my d-man and some rubber band/magnetic mechanic glues me to the guy standing in front of the net so I literally can not defend the puck, the game stops you from trying to move. This game is abysmal, I really am dumbfounded, gonna take it back and get my 30% on Borderlands 2. I am not exaggerating, try to skate and I get force field pulled to the front of the net for no reason, threw my controller. EA, last game of yours I will ever buy. I had more fun playing NHL games on the SNES, how anyone can accept this is beyond me.

See again that's all gameplay gripes which I wish people would just shut up about. I'm with you, the pin-to-the-boards thing can be grating but you need to adjust to that and make your passes quicker. It's not "you can't defend the puck", I can do it and I'm playing the same game as you.
It's not true that you get the puck 0% of the time you hit a guy. Against the CPU I'm pretty effective with hitting, and I get the puck about 75% of the time - I spent a bit of time figuring out how the game wants you to time hits so you're bumping the guy when he's off-balance. Hitting isn't perfect but it ain't broken.
There are mechanical issues with the game; i.e. stick lift is more or less useless given the existence of poke checking, and CPU defensemen don't use their sticks at all; HUT is currently in a place where no matter how many games you win you never get any pucks for them; GM connected menus take 5 minutes to load (though they've apparently ninja-fixed that somewhat because they're twice as fast as a week ago); players in GM connected leagues sometimes vanish out of the league (guess they retired); CPU teams often make and propose ludicrous trades; assistant GM on a schedule move-forward sometimes decides it's a good idea to put franchise players on waivers... lots of really big issues. But gameplay, for the most part, is fine. It needs some tweaks, sure, but that's not a tough thing to do and it's not the pressing, actual game-breaking stuff which is what they need to address first.

I would respectfully disagree. This is easily my favourite version of the series so far. It's far from perfect, but it's much better than years past imo.
I'm not saying you suck at the game, but I will say that I do. This has lead to a great deal of frustration in the first few days, but as I get a little better I'm finding that I would never be able to go back to previous games.
Have you tried editing the sliders? If you play online I can see why you wouldn't be able to, but if you're just playing the computer you could up the hitting power as well as many other things that might be giving you hell. If those don't help I guess it just isn't the game for you. Every year this happens to the game... can't please everybody.

The GM Connected loading times seem to be really long for me. Scrolling through teams to look for trade is slow as well. Is that just the strain on EA's servers right now or is it my connection? The actual gameplay is flawless so I don't think it's my connection.

I have been quite happy with Be A Pro mode, my own teammates are much more creative.
I am trying Be A GM. I am the Flames and would like Granlund to go to juniors, is that not possible? I don't see an option for CHL, just NHL/AHL.

funny, because I don't. I won most of the games I played and the ones I lost were because of stupid inconsistencies in the A.I. Problem is the game is no fun. Winning is not fun, and losing is worse. The game literally stopped me from skating in a direction and rubber banded me to a guy in front of the net, unacceptable.
If you guys want to defend this piece of garbage go ahead, I get it. The problem is the bar is so low because EA has rights to the NHL. This game is crap, pure crap and I don't even suck, it's just not fun at all. Most people will defend it because they have the purchasers bias where they have to rationalize spending their money. If you can accept a giant leap backwards in gameplay go ahead, I'm never playing this steaming turd again. Go ahead, tell me I suck because it's the easy thing to do. I'm done here, I just hope I can save someone on the fence from buying this. Don't bother wasting your time telling me how wrong I am because I'm not coming back.

are you serious? gameplay is the ONLY thing that matters. for all the modes that they offer, the game still revolves around the gameplay. it still revolves around the AI.
would you prefer people gripe about the inaccuracies of the new bauer skates and how EA got them slightly wrong? (not sure if they did just making an example)
personally, i thought the demo was terrible. i felt that yet again, EA moved the game away from real hockey. i was definitely in the minority, but happy to see some others share my opinion.
frankly though, people need to realize that not everyone is going to be happy with the game, and its not just 'because they suck'. regardless of someone skill level, EA should be putting out a game that people enjoy, so skill level really has nothing to do with it.

Go into league members and you can remove yourself from the league there.

Enjoying the game. Only a few of beefs. It has frozen 6 times on me in maybe 10 hours of gameplay (mostly be a pro). HUT as usual is too difficult for me as I never get enough pucks and when I do, all I get is more contract cards. So far not a single player in 4 bronze packs. I suck terribly at online, so I don't usually play online

After reading a lot of your guys comments I'm glad that I'm holding off from getting this game for a while.

I understand some of the sentiments, think maybe you've gone off the deep-end, but don't think it's nearly as bad a product as you seem to.
I was pretty cynical after 11 and 12, had no intention of getting 13 and thought the demo was pretty good, but a demo.
I'm having much more fun playing the game this year than last year, though. Some of the mechanics are clunky, and I agree about the low bar, but I really don't find the inconsistencies to be on par with previous versions. It's less buggy than 11 and 12, which is an improvement.
None of this is defending my purchase either. I traded in 2 games I didn't play and got it for free.

I like this significantly more then NHL 12. My only complaint is the goalie spidermans on cross-creases, but other then that I am finding it very enjoyable.

Even then, I'm finding I can score a nice cross creaser once every couple of games given the right circumstances.
