It's back online.

I'll be looking for another solution to host the site, including PAID hosting providers. Free hosting is just...blehhh. This was a painful reminder of why free hosting providers SUCK.

Sorry to anyone needing to Plan MIN. I got thrown on call for the week, so I will be kind of dicey on when I will be around, so I will set it for computer play eligibility if it already is not set for it

I dont quite understand why we arent continuing to use this site? Has the league been asked to move ffrom CP?

If we dont have to leave the site, why are we complicating this more than it needs to be?

My suggestion for the trade/roster thread was for ease... A whole new site isnt making things easier. Especially from my android.

Good evening/day folks.

I apologize for my absence since I'm currently at the hospital and also for the fact that I haven't enabled the possibility to play against my AI. If this could be fixed by the commish it would be great!

But I have wifi here and are open for any trade suggestions.

I agree, I have signed up for all the bells and whistles, but it is annoying to have to go to different places. I mean, almost all of us are on here daily, why add another site to go to, which frankly, people will not go on every day?

Im inclined to agree. I don't mind textplus, as it can be pretty handy, but I think adding a 2nd forum will just be a disaster in the long haul, primarily since some wont check it when everyone checks CP

Well, what other choice is there? Having just one thread dedicated to everything gets really cumbersome. I find it easy to browse the other forum for transactions, rosters, and trade blocks.

i also think two sites can be a pain. i know i won't be on that site as often as i will be on CP

I see both views. I'm on both sites. And it's no problem. I have cp and the gm connected on my bookmark bar right next to each other and it takes all of a second or 2 to hit the button and go to the site.

It'll take an extra min or 2 to go to the site. So and extra 365min to 730min a year. An extra 6 to 12 hours a year.

Takes longer to browse this thread then it does to go the other site and browse that one.

My 2 cents.

Hey guys, Im not trying to lead a revolt against the new forums here. I know stealth put in alot of effort into this and its appreciated. However, im just not sure its necessary and in ways, not anymore convenient.

I also appreciate the guys speaking up about similar concerns as mine.
But if its the general concensus that this is better, then I will get on board. But it needs to be something we are all on the same page about. Its redundant if we arent all using it.

So lets try and use the new site as best we can until it really does become an issue. At this point, its really not. In my opinion.

I was complaining due to not being able to get on from my android. And with the first site, I couldnt. I was auto redirected to the market to download that app for $4.

With the new site, im able to access the site from my phone. So im able to access whats going on during the day. So I have no real complaints at this point.

Is it more convenient? debatable. Will it allow us to have more discussion on different topics and not have them lumped into one? Yes.. So there are defenite benefits.

But again, almost pointless unless we all use it. So lets atleast give it a chance.

To be quiet honest, I think we may have jump the gun here and not truly think this through.

I don't know if another forum is really necessary. Although it will make things look cleaner and more organized, I think making current use of this forum is alright, especially since everyone will practically frequent this one daily. Plus we don't have to worry about communication slipping the cracks since one thing is posted or messaged on that forum, and it's missed because some didn't view it or were aware it was posted.

I really appreciate the effort Stealth22 in getting the forum set up. But we may be putting more work into this then necessary. And I don't want you taking any money out of your wallet for something like that.

I think if people are okay with just adding a separate thread on this forum for rosters & trading block, and official transactions, then we should be able to suffice here.

If no one wants to use it, then there's no point in doing it, I agree. But there are benefits to it.

And regardless, I think everyone should at least be on textPlus.

Oh, and I didn't spend a dime.

I can see the benefit to having the nicely laid out sub-forums that Stealth's site has, however this is something that could also be done on CP without having to use a totally new site.

Also, this league is brand new and extremely popular right now. In a month, when the activity dies down drastically, which it will, then another forum really loses its appeal.
