no way, that would be very unlike Dan. I would assume he believes at this point in the game if he comes off the block the only person who could beat him would be Ian

Based on what he whispered to the memory wall... looks like.

It's not quite the dumbest move in BB history (My opinion #1: Lowan asks to be evicted so that he can come back with a non-existent "superpower" and #2 Marcellous not using the veto on himself) but it's as close as this season is going to get at this point.

Despite the general lack of loyalty the Quack Pack is really one of the most successful multi-person alliances in BB history. 9 of 13 HoH's (depending on whether you count Week 1... I don't... which was won by Team Britney) and 9 of 13 PoV's. All four F4 slots. That's

Maybe, but the only person who won't take him to F2 if he doesn't win the final HoH comp is Shane.

You gotta look at it from his perspective... Who won't take him to F2: Shane, Will Danielle if Shane is there? Not with 100% certainty, If he's not? Yes she will, Will Ian? Yes, How much blood does Shane have on his hands? Not much, How much blood does Ian have on his hands? About as much as I do. Who'll be easier to beat in the final comps? ... they're both pretty tough.

Dan has said (who knows if he thinks it's true) that he doesn't think that Frank, Joe, or Britney will vote for him to win so he may be playing for 2nd place... and Ian is his better shot at 2nd place. Plus Ian bought his book so even if he losses he's got a selling point and testimonial for it

But who knows maybe it won't even go down. I hope it does... that'd be great TV.

Sad thing is, it would be best case scenario for her in my opinion. Shane leaves with no ill will towards her and now a final 2 of Dan and Danielle she could possibly win just due to the sheer amount of bitter juries that could be against Dan. Even an Ian and Danielle final 2 could be surprising, she would get Shane's vote, possibly Jenn as Danielle has no blood on her hands from that and they were in an alliance, Dan could vote for his player and if Frank is bitter towards Ian... Also who knows with Joe.

Dan, Danielle and Ian are the final 3. Danielle used the veto to save Dan, and Dan evicted Shane with the only vote. Danielle was shocked. That was badass and with that, Dan results wise has become the BEST player in BB history. 1st and 3rd (at worst). Nobody has ever done that.

Disagree. Even if true at face value it doesn't take into account that he was operating with coach designation for the first four weeks of the show (and thus could not be nominated or evicted). It's the PED of big brother... Dan's one of the best but he's still no Dr. Will (who had no such advantage and faced a cast of entirely experienced players) if he wins I'll give him best ever consideration.

On the show... Now THAT'S good entertainment! Danielle's slack jaw was epic huge. I gotta admit though I felt kinda bad about Shane at the end. Hate to see a grown man cry... he held it in but just barely.

Shane seems like a real classy guy and a good person. He should have fought tooth and nail to leave nominations the same. He would have evicted Ian anyways so all he had to tell Danielle was I swear to evict Ian and it was good. Being okay to go up on the block especially after their is no chance to save yourself by the veto is dumb.

It was the right move but doesn't this just elimate another for Dan in the jury house? All fine and dandy to pick people off but with no jury votes he can't win.

but he's lost Shane/Frank 100% and Ashley would vote for Ian/Danielle over him as well

he needs to get every single other vote, which I really don't see happening
