I just went with Bauer skates with laces. Better fit means less prone to ankle injury and more control.

You must have lucked out (unless you bought new). They had nothing in a 3 year olds size for skates with laces. We had trouble finding good used skates for my son until after he was 6.

Found a pair at play it again in westhills but my son was 42 inches tall and 40 pounds at 3.5 years old. You can always buy bigger and put 2 or 3 pairs of socks on him.

got a question here...
I need to get rubber soles done on my shoes front and back.
The guy quoted me $53 which is apparently 35 for the front and 18 for the back but I find this way too expensive.... anyone know any shoe repair stores that does a good job for good price?

Try Varsity. I had some stitch work done on a pair of old Birks that turned out really well (read that the stitches weren't what finally did them in).

Gotta buy skates for my 13 year old son as his feet just grew 2 sizes over the summer to size 9 shoes. He plays house league and is a defenceman if that matters. As his feet will likely grow some more, I don't want to spend too much, but I also don't want skates that prevent him from playing well. What kind of skates would be best?

Take him to Tuxedo or Pro Hockey Life, or any hockey store you feel comfortable with and have him try on skates that are in your price range and see which he likes best.

Bauer, CCM, Reebok, Easton, Mission, Graf all have different models that have different features and it really comes down to how they feel on your foot.

Am I in the minority when I say I do not go on CP when I am drunk?

I'm usually at a pub, buddy's house, or my house with buddies over so I never have time to go on CP when I'm drinking.

What kind of garberator? If its an in-sink-erator, they all use the same mounting bracket. I found when mine died it was cheaper and easier just to swap it out for a new one.

Is there some kind of powder, maybe like those crystal light pouches, that has a reasonable amount of caffeine in it?

I don't want coffee, tea or pop and would prefer something without much sugar or artificial sweeteners if possible.

What's wrong with cocaine? You don't even need water.

The apartment is only 2 years old so its just the standard one the place had from the start.. I think its dead so I would probably have to replace it

In another thread there was a discussion of how things that used to be commonly acceptable (cigarettes) are now widely considered to be very, very bad for you, and a discussion of what things are commonly used now that will fit into that category in the future. 5 hour energy fits.
