That's exactly the car I pictured the man driving. Oh and Hans Moleman is only 31 years old.

To make it even better?

When do I get to plow through a crowd of children with my car and get off scott free?

Is this one of those 'everyone gets one time for free' kind of deals?

And seniors think they have it so rough these days....

I don't know exactly how driving laws work in America, but don't the people at the DMV has a responsibility to ensure the person they are licensing is in fact...competant to drive? Did no one notice his date of birth? Was he given an eye test? How the F is this even allowed to happen??

Would you really want to be the person that takes away an old man's last piece of independence? You'd think he would have turned it in voluntarily by now, though.

This is why I believe that you should have to redo your drivers licence test one every 10 years. You should not be legally allowed to drive just because you were able to drive at some point in your life.

In the more socially progressive nation of Canada, I believe you get a special permit at age 85 to do so. Visit your local Alberta Registries affiliate to learn more.

According to the firemen, it happens way more than we think (according to them they do this type of call every few days in town).

Dude. Hes 100 years old. Lets be reasonable here. If hes not in a home then thats probably all the independence he could reasonably expect to have.

100 year old....not car mechanic. 100 year old guy thinks his brakes failed. Maybe. Fact is that he lost control of the car.

The reason hes not being charged is because hes old and no one was killed and they're taking his license away anyways.
