Some embarrassing CFL reffing giving the Esks a chance to score. Without the refs this offense has been god awful.

The roughing the passer call was weak but the PI was a good call. DB was holding

It was a small hold at best on an I catchable ball after Carr pushed off.

Holding or not Carr is not catching that ball even after the shove he gave the defender.

I just question if that ball was catchable?

Welcome to the CFL. It's always called in favor of the receiver. That's a fairly consistent call they make.

As a DB I hate the rule. Receivers and DBs should be called the same. Unfortunately, offense sells tickets so that will never be the case

I think you can argue that part of.the call either way. Certainly wasn't a well thrown pass..

Oh I am very familiar with the crap reffing in CFL.

Just frustrating to see a drive made up completely of ref calls. Usually only happens in favor of the Priders.

I always thought the DBs in the CFL got away with a lot more than DBs in the NFL.

Ugh, another blackout for the Lower Mainland on TSN.

I'm getting pretty sick of these.

How many fans do they need to lift blackouts? I can't imagine they're expecting sellouts in that big stadium

Now that's a gutsy call. Good job on the lions for being awake. Very well kicked ball

Hustle forces a fumble. Back to the riders

Defence was good. Offense was beyond terrible. Idiotic playcalling. Now the D is unable to keep it up.

BC is the better yeam (by a lot) though they haven't been amazing either

Did Richie Hall get hit upside the head? His D was pretty good tonight, the same can't be said for Bobby Dyce as his O was downright horrid again.

It was reported that they need 35,000 per game, but I read today that over 40,000 were coming to the game this afternoon and they still didn't lift the blackout. Ridiculous.

The only positive thing happen for the Stamps this week was the other 2 teams (Eskimos and Riders) lost their game. Looks like BC Lions is going to be a runaway team in the West.

@ M*A*S*H 4077, You still think Edmonton has the best D in the league right now? BC has now gone 3 games, 13 quarters, and something like 166 minutes without allowing someone to score a major.

BC is unreal right now on defence. I say Edmonton is certainly next best. And Sherritt is on his own level as an individual right now.

On the opposite end, Montreal and Hamilton are probably the worst.

BC
Edmonton
Toronto
Saskatchewan
Calgary
Winnipeg
Montreal
Hamilton

That's my list after week 8. Just from my memory with no stats. It may change slightly if I looked at stats

Toronto Argonaut linebackers Brandon Isaac and Marcus Ball were each fined for separate dangerous and unnecessary illegal hits away from the play on Calgary Stampeders running back Jon Cornish during last Saturday night’s game.
