Aside from the already mentioned ideas....
If you have a car then Calypso just off the 417 east of the city is the biggest waterpark in Canada.
You can rent a kayak or pedalboat at Dows Lake and explore the Canal on them.
Check out Gatineau Park. It's not far from downtown.
Chipwagon poutine.
Good neighbourhoods to explore would be Westboro, Hintonburg, the Glebe, and Old Ottawa South.
There are beaches at Britannia, Mooney's Bay, Westboro and Petrie Island.

How do I explain to someone that the reason the inventory count I just finished doesn't match the computer is because they suck at their job and not a user error on my part, or the guy who verified my counts, or the guy that verified his counts?
