Going to be a interesting game. Drew Tate looked terrible in the pre season, I wonder how long the leash will be on him.

Was it just me, or was that just a terrible rendition of our national anthem?

I am one of those wait-and-see what can Drew Tate do. I wish him well and I hope he kick b^tt but i am not put a high expectation on him at this point. I am hoping for a Travis Lulay story and not a Cleo Lemon story when it comes to Tate.
I can see Calvillo going after Bennett today. He tested out Quincy Butler against Richardson late last season. I hope Bennett respond the way Butler did last season. Only reason why Richardson got some more yardage was because Tisdale couldn't handle him when Butler was not covering him.

I'm not the biggest CFL fan (try to watch as many Stamps games as possible), but what is everyone expecting from the Stamps this year?
On that note, FUMBLE TD RETURN!! Nice!

Who say that coming a rookie in his first CFL game playing safety scores the first major of the year for Calgary on a fumble recovery?

Well I wouldn't have thought we'd go up 17-0 in 11 minutes.

Seriously? Tate was getting back up. He hit him between the strike zone. The refs should have blown it down when Tate gave himself up. That was a harsh penalty call

Getting up? His butt was still on the ground. Penalty call was obvious.

He's pushing himself back up, therefore re-entering the play.
I think that is more the fault of the refs than anyone else. Call the penalty, ok, but be consistent with it now. they should have blown the play dead when he gave himself up like it often is

That's a penalty 1000 out of every 1000 times, period.

Really? Come on now, Shea Emry doesn't exactly have a good reputation in the league, he has a reputation for being a dirty player.
