This is how all child sex abuse cases should be dealt with.

Much like GL, I have two sides when it comes to this article.
One side, the father, is happy the man kicked the $hit out of him, and I would do the same.
The other side, knows that this is not the best approach for society.
If put in that situation the face smashing side would win out.

Much easier said than done....
How do you know his intent was to kill the guy though?
From the perspective of the victims dad, how does he know the attacker is on the verge of death while reigning blows on him?

I'm sure he will have a good defense if charged, hello temporary insanity. I doubt anyone would be in their right mind if they saw this happening to their kid.

Indeed. There is a chance it was one well placed blow that did it.
Though more likely repeated blows.
Even the most laid back person can turn into something they aren't when faced with shock or something traumatic.

wrong, leave him alive and he likely sues you and your entire family. the dead can't create lawsuits

He should have let the molestor attack him first, that way he can claim self-defense.

Living with what happened to her, not understanding it but knowing its wrong is probably going to be worse than death for that girl. I only hope she can recover and isn't too damaged by the molestation.

And his lawsuit is...
"I was raping this kid and then her dad came out of nowhere and beat the #### out of me!" ?
I'm not very well versed in legal proceedings, but I have a feeling this wouldn't go over very well.

Not really. This isn't a case of a guy out to get justice for a past wrong, this is a guy who came across the act and took steps to protect his daughter. It's no different than defending himself. Unless he went way overboard I don't see anyway that charges would be brought.

I can't blame the guy. I have two young children and would undoubtedly lose it if someone was assaulting them.

What are the odds that other victims come out now and this was not the first time the deceased did this but 100% sure the last.

I think the only charge that could be brought here would be a manslaughter charge and depending on whether intent can be shown, it'll be voluntary or involuntary. But good luck getting a jury to convict a guy who saved his daughter from further molestation by beating the molestor to death.

Yeah its certainly bizarre, but the sooner we accept the fact that some people are attracted to that age maybe is when we can start to understand it and, help?
People who are born with that attraction aren't bad people, can they help it, I don't know. The acting on your attraction, that's the evil part.
I'm sure there are people who have these attractions all their lives and never act on them. We need to understand why those that act, do.
I don't know, random brain droppings.

There are very few situations where I would condone any sort of violence, or even threat of violence. I have absolutely no issue with what the father did.

he was protecting his 4-year old daughter, i think it counts as self defense regardless. you have a duty as a parent to protect your children, all he did was perform that duty
