Man you guys are some serious av geeks! We had some of our Hawks delivered via antonov and I never understood the fascination with a flying boxcar. Same with the galaxy, c-17, they're kinda cool but i dont get it. I like the tail design on this one though. Looks a lot sexier (for a fat chick) lol.

Sorry if I just crapped on your parade not trying to be a dick.

A flying boxcar that is 1.3 million pounds is just too damn impressive to be "meh" about.

Yes, CP sits on a server that is about 25 feet away from my desk...

It's interesting, but they only built one. The C-5 is far more interesting, to me, because of how many they built and how many millions of miles they've cumulatively put in. As a platform its accomplished a lot more.

Really? Neat. Car to post a picture of it? I have always wondered what Calgarypuck looks like.

The room requires a code to get in - people usually don't go in there unless there is a good reason - that my friend is not a good reason

I'd be more than happy to post a picture of the door with the code pad.

I've learned that the CP server is only a block or two north of me at work!

Word has it that the "smaller" Antonov 124 may be in town this weekend. Funny enough I've never photographed it, even though it visits here a few times a year.

The AN 124 would have had a lot of spotters if it was here before the 225. Now the 124 will just be "meh."

True, but it still slows down traffic on McKnight when it flies over, or sits on the threshold of 34 for 4 minutes running up its engines.

A little smaller than the Antonov 225, here is the Cargolux 747-8F freighter departing YYC Saturday afternoon:

Lol, google was my friend after I posted that question and I found that graphic. Thanks though. Graphics are great but in person is a lot more awe inspiring. This pic is cool-
