BOOOOOM! What a great hit. I'm really looking forward to see how Ramage's play will be like when he turns pro.
IIRC he could turn pro in summer but also return to college for another year, correct?
I believe Jay Feaster wanted him to turn pro last summer, he decided he wanted to back to school? He is a junior and could go back for his senior season if desires.

Right, which is a bit frustrating for Flames fans (and Heat fans), but it's probably better in the long run.
It's unfortunate because there was a poster on here who was saying he's a bit of a partier in University. Sure, it's good ol' typical college life, but for a hockey player where his organization thinks highly of him, I don't know if that's the best thing for him. Educationally, yes. Career-wise in hockey, no.

I don't think you're allowed to go to Wisconsin unless you know how to drink. It's nothing to worry about, he would need a lot of self restraint not to go to any of the parties that are thrown in Madison.

I'd be more worried if he DIDN'T, to be honest. Being able to fit in on a pro team is so important to being successful as a pro. You have to be able to socialize.
Quick update because why the hell not. Ortio lost 4-1 but was the third star of the game so he probably did okay. He's been one of the three stars in each of his three games, .941 sv, 1,96 gaa.
Granlund also scored a goal.

Micheal Ferland has 2 goals tonight as Brandon beat Kootenay 4-3.
Max Reinhart had a helper.
Joey Leach was -3.
Laurent Brossoit lets 3 goals in the third and loses 3-2 in Kamloops . He stopped 35 of 38 shots in the game.
Brossoit stopped 34 shots, many of them good chances. Griffen Reinhart looked mostly slow and confused, though made some nice plays. Sometimes he seems like he is daydreaming out there though
Ferland with a goal and an assist.
Baertschi with another 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists). Wotherspoon had an assist as well.
Brossoit made 25 saves in the Oil Kings 6-3 win.

A quick postcard from Funland. Ortio's team lost on friday 3-1, 26 saves. Fourth straight start for him, which is great, but the team isn't doing great. I hope they make the playoffs.
Markus Granlund didn't score on friday but got a goal and assist tonight. 37 games, 11 goals, 14 assists, 25 points, +14; leading rooking in the league. Most of the points since november so he's keeping a good pace. His team won't have trouble making the playoffs.
