Another missing person. Please help find Ryan Lane.

Hey guys, this can't hurt. Ryan Lane is the son of one of my coworkers, and he has not been seen or heard from since early last week. I told his dad I would throw this up on the site, in the remote chance someone may know something.

I do not know the exact details, just doing a solid for a guy I work with who is obviously seriously distressed right now.

Weird, can't imagine how crazy my family would go if I was missing for a few days. That's got to be terrifying. Probably worse if it's a woman.

Do people keep going to work? I'm not sure what I'd do at work if my kid was missing. . .

It seems really weird all these people are going missing lately and I wonder how many are connected or if it's just all random. I now wonder if my family ever worried when I left town out of no where. This was 10 years ago or so but I would take off for 3-7 days at a time not really saying much to people but maybe they just got use to it.

Looks like he was last seen up in the NW part of calgary. He was last seen at the Esso Gas station of the Citadel community.

This is my cousin who has gone missing, someone who is very dear to me and my family, and for those of you willing to help we really appreciate it, and the rest please keep your comments to yourselves. Try and imagine how you would feel if this was your family.

Some family lives near where he was seen last. Will ask them to check around the community if they have some spare time.

This doesn't sound good.

This week, numerous sources told the Sun they fear the 24-year-old may have met with foul play, especially given Lane apparently vanished after someone offered him help in an ongoing custody battle.

... some friends claim Lane had a rare visit with his daughter at the Chuck E. Cheese restaurant in Calgary before getting a phone call they now worry may be linked to his disappearance.

“He got a phone call from someone who said he could help him get custody of his daughter,” Wade said.

A few hours later he was missing, and as of Tuesday night police Insp. Mike Tillotson said he had not been found.

Homicide Staff Sgt. Grant Miller said the case is now being investigated by detectives in the major crimes section with Lane listed as a missing person.

The Calgary Police Service continues to seek public assistance to locate a man who has been missing since early February.

Ryan LANE, 24, was last seen in the early morning hours of Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012, near the 5200 block of Country Hills Boulevard N.W.

Investigators now believe he may have met with foul play and they are seeking information from the public about the movements of two vehicles that were seen in the area at the time of LANE’s disappearance.

One is described as a red, 1996 Jeep Cherokee and the other is a red, 1998 GMC Sierra truck that was carrying a load of wood. Police are looking for information about the movement of these two vehicles since Monday, Feb. 6, 2012.

If you live in these areas:

Investigators said Lane has many connections in many towns surrounding Calgary, including Irricana, Beiseker, Airdrie and Cochrane.

Police issued a request this morning for anyone in those towns and surrounding areas to check their property and report any suspicious findings to authorities.

With this new information about the vehicles, I am pretty convinced whoever is responsible for whatever has happened to him, will be found and caught. F'n scumbags.

Presumably, the police have interviewed the ex/mother of his kid, given the "ongoing custody battle"? Presumably, someone connected to her is involved, given the info above... All the best.
