This is what it looks like in Woodlands:

Spoiler!

The air is pretty bad. I laughed at the snippet they played earlier on QR of the spokesman from Tsuu Tina saying "it's just construction waste, and mostly wood". That's comforting considering that stuff like OSB, plywood, and MDF are made from remnants of lumber and mixed with glue and other chemicals, then compressed into their usable form. It's pretty much like being downwind from a condo fire.

Sorry about the crappy iphone pic.

Got both my kitchen & bathroom exhaust fans running right now. How much smoke does it take to set off a smoke alarms again? Only sorta kidding.

Where do you think the air replacing the air being exhausted is coming from?

Oh great, so now I've gotta worry about fan death. Thanks a lot.

Oh wow, that's a serious link. I have to spread the warning!
Make sure you keep a pressure gauge in the house, don't want to create a vacuum and suffocate.

Oh hey, sup dude. We live in the same complex.

Smoke smell has been really bothering us. Apparently I sneeze a lot from it. Talk about annoying!

Was driving home from work a hour ago on Anderson and the smoke was thick, looked like a heavy fog, and saw a bunch of fire trucks on Elbow in Canyon Meadows. Smoke seems thicker now than it did around noon. I can't get the smoke stench out of my nostrils and I'm in my condo complex with all the windows shut.

This smell reminds me of the summer I spent in Edmonton.

Late to the thread, but this is utterly ridiculous. Not surprising there is a total spit in the face of any sort of responsibility or any urgency to get the bottom of this.

The right people doing the right things? When a pile of random garbage that was dumped by people on that reserve gets lit on fire presumably by the same or other people on said reserve, but not taking any responsibility for it getting lit, its tough to believe that out of nowhere they have hired right professionals are taking care of this.

Horizontal drilling, now there's a buzzword if ever heard of one...I am sure they meant guys with shovels coming at the pile from the side.

Hopefully the wind whips up from the south and the casino is in range of the fire and/or the smell, it may wake the one or two people responsible for taking care of that dumping ground of demolition material (construction material? who's kidding who here) off the couch and into action.

Worry not whitey. The appropriate cousins and relatives of the Chief have been hired and retained as consultants, and are rapidly mobilizing resources to deal with this crisis. As soon as the appropriate funds have been deposited in the designated offshore banks, additional relatives with shovels will be on scene.
