Did he cast the ring into the fire?

They didn't start the fire. It was always burning since the world's been turning.

EDIT: Whoops, late with the joke.

So all those 911 calls for a bunch of smoke? But when those strange sounds that have been WELL documented on youtube are heard no one calls?

people are strange!

I won't lie. When I left my apartment this morning, the smell was such that I was legitimately wondering if something was smouldering in the building. Strange noises won't impact your life. Your home burning down does.

The haze from our area is pretty much gone, but you can still see a nice plume of smoke from the area of the fire.

Nothing like waking up at 4:30am to a loud screeching fire alarm in the condo. First time I've seen more than 10 people leave for a fire alarm, was probably closer to 100 in this case. Smelling smoke when woken from a slumber and an alarm going off may do that. Fire fighters believe someone pulled the alarm because they thought it was the building on fire. *facepalm*

But I have to LOL at the people that called the fire department for smoke that is covering a wide area just in case they aren't aware of a potential fire.

edit: Getting really really smokey again near Canyon Meadows. I swear to god, if I have to wake up again in the middle of the night....

Yeah I can still smell it in my living room right now. As I said earlier in this thread I honestly thought it was IN my town home this morning. We have a fireplace but we've never used it and it's got insulation in the chimney, so I got worried when I woke up to the smell of smoke.

Also in Canyon Meadows. Crazy strong smell in the house right now. Very hazy outside, and a load of sirens too. Wonder if there's another fire going on around here.

You should call the fire department just in case they don't know about it.
