I agree the option has been run poorly but even if it's been run well, there are already 4 defenders on that side. Can't trick them all.

He was the one that made the comment, i am merely correcting him...if you dont like it...stay out of it.

I am not watching the game....so when i saw the stats on espn, i quite literally laughed....made a comment about it and get jumped for it....now you wanna join in? Good stuff.

I don't care about joining in, I just think the fact that you're "protesting", but while at work, like it's going to matter to BCS numbers is funny ... add in the fact that you keep checking ESPN, who has the rights, for information on the game makes it more funny.

Voted? I thought they stopped voting for the champion when the BCS came about.

I just don't understand how the previous game, which at the time was the game of the freaking century suddenly means nothing. What happened to every game mattering in the regular season? Isn't that the crux of the pro BCS argument?

I guess you find humor in simple things...good for you, but you should read...i wasnt going to check on scores in this game, in fact i had forgot about it til i went there to read the NFC North blog that i do every night.

The vote is the only way people can claim a split though.

Bama's D is that good, but LSU never gave themselves a chance. North-south team trying to play east-west. And when they do run their only trademark east-west play (the speed option), Jefferson has completely negated it with early pitches.

Well as for your other point, a lot of other teams had the chance of the Alabama loss to take control of their NC bid but blew it.

Seems pretty convenient to me. You weren't going to check but you just happened to be on ESPN and then accidently hit the link and checked out all the yardage totals. Then decided to post about it. A true protest.

Now we have three teams with only one loss, and in my opinion no clear National Champion.

Oklahoma State must be wondering what could have been, had they just beat Iowa State they would be in this game and could probably beat an LSU team that just didn't show up.

I always feel for these teams because it would be hard to stay sharp after not playing for 5 weeks, Bama was able to do it, LSU was not. I think a playoff would be good if only because it would keep these teams playing and get rid of the long layoff.

Dude...its on their front page and no i didnt accidently click on it...what would make you believe that? I am not protesting ESPN, nor college football..i am all about getting rid of the single stupidest and most ridiculous "playoff" system in the world.
