I can't believe Conditions of my Parole by Puscifer isn't getting more love. I thought it was a huge breakout album for them IMO and as much as I hate Keenan in his other groups, but this album was rock solid IMO.

I will bet that the new Mumford and Sons album will be on many top ten lists next year. So pumped for it.

Guided by Voices : Let's Go Eat the Factory.....strategic release just in time to miss the best of lists and leave you to decide for yourself.
Not Guided by Critics Lots of good music is missed by cherry picking the critics lists. Anyone post the Artists top picks yet?

So after receiving some itunes gift cards for xmas I went a little spend happy and purchased:
M83
Bon Iver
The Roots
I also downloaded the Weeknd's 3 albums (which are free from his website).
Earlier this month I picked up Childish Gambino for $6.99, which is also a terrifc album.
Man, there is great music being produced these days, and those albums were all less than 10 bucks. Not that I want to preach, but quality music is being sold easily and quickly through iTunes for totally reasonable prices. The only reason I can see people torrenting anymore is for things that iTunes doesn't carry, otherwise it's just easier and more ethical to just pay for it.
I also picked up the Coeur de Pirate freebee on the 12 days of xmas thing iTunes is running with the herald. Pretty solid tracks, will probably pick up her album in the near future.

Mind bottling that pedestrian acoustic guitar stuff (Bon Iver or anything that make guys over at pitchfork to pitch a tent) gets so much hype.
Bloody annoying hipsters
