Default The Last Of Us - new game from Naughty Dog

Looks sensational, new title from one of the best developers in the industry.

Yes, running off the game engine, not CG. Can't wait!

Uncharted is amazing. I will buy this game just because I love the Uncharted series.

The innovative and fresh story line is what draws me in

Still, looks interesting I suppose.

I'm definitely interested in the prospect of a survival-horror end of the world game as opposed to the "You just woke up in the wasteland, here's a gun!" that the gaming industry has done for the last three years.

Survival-horror has taken a tumble off a cliff with this generation of consoles. Naughty Dog is one of the top developers in the industry and will do an awesome job at bringing it back. They also do an excellent job with their story and characters, so that will be a cut above the usual. Not to mention the graphics...

Looks like Uncharted meets Zombieland...

So it's basically a Zombie movie. Though, as long as the main character isn't a giant dbag... It's good to see that developers aren't afraid to create new IPs.

I want a new (good) Crash Bandicoot!

Reminds me of this... But looks cool, could be fun especially if it's anything like Unchartered

Anybody who doesn't like Uncharted doesn't understand gaming.

See? Isn't it obnoxious when somebody posts an opinion as fact?

The game looks pretty strong, but if it wasn't Naughty Dog I probably wouldn't get too excited about it. Seeing as it is I'll definitely pick it up.

Looks interesting. That being said, can the Zombie craze be over already? Forget about peak oil, I think we've reached peak zombie.

Didn't GTA5 get it's own thread?

Wow, the girl's name is Ellie and is even a ringer for Ellen Page but isn't voiced by her.

Alan Wake is the best survival horror game I've played this generation. It wasn't a perfect game, but they did a lot of things right in my opinion including characters and story.

Naughty Dog has an uncanny ability to tell a story, and provide a cinematic gaming experience. I have faith that this game will be well worth a purchase.

Agreed on this... I watched my buddy play through the first couple hours and I thought it was brilliant. Too bad it sold like junk and it's sequel is getting downgraded to a XBLA game.

Yep, I beat it in three days but like the Uncharted series it was a game I just couldn't stop playing.

It's their fault for taking almost 5 years on development...spending 4 years of that on making the game for the PC and then switching over in the last year to Xbox 360 exclusive since Microsoft gave them a bag of cash.

Not sure if the naysayers caught this:

The guy buddy was fighting, was not infected/a zombie. That was a real person, he killed him with a 2x4.

It doesn't look like its all about zombies. Pit against other humans is the whole basis of dystopia entertainment ie Book of Eli, the Road, etc.

If ND is going for realism here, they understand that in a zombie apocalypse, the zombies are the least of your worries.
