Default Rerate question

How do the playoffs effect a players rerate?

For example, if player A and player B have a similar overall and have similar regular season. Player A's team makes the playoffs, while player B's team misses.

If player A keeps up a similar pace to his regular season pace during the playoffs will he get a better rerate then player B.

Hopefully that makes sense, haha.

So player B's team both makes and misses the playoffs the same year? Never happen. Don't worry about it.

It usually doesn't affect anything, I wouldn't worry about it.

Ah, ok. Thanks.

But if a player performs really good during the playoffs that would obviously help his stats, right?

Just pretty much wondering how much the playoffs effect stats.

We primarily use regular season stats as the basis for ratings.
