That is going to be one very intimidating 4th line.
I would really like to know how Leblond performs. Can someone state whether he seems able to play? I don't like that he seems a bit too aggressive and wanting to fight, but I am really wondering if he can actually contribute to the play in a meaningful way.
Just curious if he was never really been given a chance to play much in Calgary due to the logjam of forwards on the Flames, or if he really is nothing more than the prototypical enforcer playing 5 minutes or less.
Unfortunate to see Negrin sitting. Is Wilson playing much better than Negrin is? I know his injuries have really stalled his development, and he went down to the ECHL for a while, but would it be fair to say this is basically the end of the road for Negrin in the Flames' organization?
Negrin never really fully recovered from a knee injury he suffered a couple years back. I think Negrin and Meyer may be looking for other opportunities at some point soon.
Why would the Heat bother running with 3-tenders. Irving is already getting all of the starts leaving Ortio with a rare relief. Is it a couple of bad starts by Irving combined with a lack of trust in Ortio? Or is there a chance Irving is getting a call-up? Confused.
Heat go three for three!! Especially sweet as this game was against the Vancouver affiliate. Hopefully this bodes well for tonight! Kolanos scores his 11th, Wilson and Mikellson pick up an assist each. Those two are pretty dominate in the offensive stat category.
Lots of talk in the other forum about having Irving come up to the flames and play a few. My question is Ortio ready to start 3-4 games in a row? I know he has not played much. I would rather Irving stay with the Heat and continue helping the heat win this year.

Danny Taylor was good today. He could tandem with Ortio in the event Irving gets the call.
Looks like he's 0-0 for the past six games. Which is a bit of disappointment until you look at Hamilton's leading scorers. 13 points so far for the team leader.
I had high hopes for Wahl. Former 2nd rounder, and seemed like a leader on a Memorial Cup winning team.
Has decent size, NHL speed, seems to think the game well, has great vision and play making abilities.
Then he had a great training camp his first year pro, and that was after getting called to the Heat after his junior season ended and he produced decent numbers right away, in his short end of season stint.
That injury really set him back.
I hope he finds his confidence again, because I was really hoping that between him, Backlund, Horak, Byron and Reinhart that we'd end up with a glut of really decent two way, speedy, skilled NHL centers in a couple of years from now.
