At some point, there has to be a realization that beyond tax reform the only other area that the government can go after with the greatest effectiveness is the public sector and their benefits.

The choice is going to eventually become accept Austerity, or lose your position.

A can of Coke costs 90c here - can get it for as low as 30c if you get a good 12 pack deal.

Well not really, history shows us that the workers couldn't come up with coke, nor were their tools much cop, you would have to content yourself with excessive quantities of rye bread and drinking anti freeze.
