My name is Mike. Nuje is a nickname. A drunk friend once saw me on MSN, said NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUJE with a long U, then corrected the position of his right hand. I told a few people, and people call me Nuje. I also think it sounds cool. I will not speak of a similar phonetic pronounciation of my screen name to a certain hockey player...although maybe I'll speak of it when he plays for Canada.

But the Poem is in a prior scene.
In high school we covered that book and the poem.

I was exposed to H.P. Lovecraft collections at a young age, mixed in with other works by other notable early 20th-century/late 19th-century horror writers, and I was hooked immediately. I have an ever growing collection of anthologies and old pulp magazines full of creeping macabre goodness.
I use this name on the net most whenever it's available.

At one point in my life, I was living in Connecticut. I volunteered at a place there that was essentially a 'rescue house' for exotic animals. They happened to have several tigers there, one of which was a white one. I had always liked tigers to begin with, and I could just sit for hours and watch this playful white one doing his thing around his 'cage'. It's been years since I've been back to that place, but I still retain my fondness for the white Bengal tiger.

One night I was hanging out with a friend who had smoked a little too much weed and he passed out while I was playing Dave Mirra 2 on the PS2. I had assumed he was sleeping, but after I pulled off a crazy move he suddenly came to and tried to say "Russ that was sick", but he was so blasted all he could get out was "Russic.... Russic".

Initials plus my number I had playing rec hockey 20 years ago.
When I signed up, didn't realize that would be my screen name.
If I could (please mods, please), would change to "Chetwyndite" in reference to my home town.
I wish I could change mine, so lame, do not know why I made my cp name what it is, but I wish it could be what my name is for every other sports website: oldtimehockey4... no idea why I didn't pick that name when I joined
When I joined the board, I was a PhD student at the University of Iowa.
Of course... I now live in Calgary, and have no ties to the U.S. (other than facebook friends from grad school), but I kind of like it. Makes me seem.... exotic.
