Default Lost - Google Nexus S at U of C on Saturday

Hi all,

Just thought I'd try posting this here on the off chance that some nice person found my phone.

All I can offer is my sympathy.

I'm gonna go download the 'find/lock my phone app' now.

I recommend SeekDroid. Haven't had to use it, fortunately, but all my tests have worked.

I'd rather lose an Android, then find an iPhone.

Just installed Android Lost after reading this thread, it is free, SeekDroid is currently $5. I will post a review of Android Lost in the Android thread.

I used Android Lost the day I lost my phone.

It was awesome! Installed it remotely, and then used the AndroidLost website to do all sorts of controls. That's how I know my phone was lost at the University. It sent me back it's location, battery status, temperature, etc.

I was also able to do stuff like take a picture with the front and back camera, which got sent to me. Too bad it was in some locker or box or something because both pictures came back black.

Android Lost works great. The web interface looks a little amateur, however the functionality is all there. I tested every feature last night, all worked without a hitch.

Try Plan B as well, it's worked for a few people I've seen on the interwebs.
