Saskatchewan has a long history of electing socialist parties at the provincial level (CCF, NDP, etc.). The currently-ruling Saskatchewan Party is a center-right coalition of the former provincial Liberal and Progressive Conservative parties.

From what I heard on CBC this morning, sounds like their plan is to keep things pretty status quo for the time being?

I was there for a week and a couple of years ago, and you see SasK everywhere, as in govt run businesses. SaskTel, SaskEnergy, Saskatchewan govt Insurance, Sask Liquor stores, etc etc. You don't realize how unobtrusive the Alberta govt is in our every day lives until you visit Regina.

1. 4 years ago they threw out their socialist overlords.
2. They began to harvest their environmental riches. Potash, Nuclear fuel, and Oil as plentiful as Alberta for the very first time
3. They reduced taxes on businesses (anti-Obama)
4. The province for the very first time in 60 years history showed a net growth in population. People actually came to Saskatchabush!!!!
5. They thoughtfully re-elected these bunch of yahoos.

They can't. Despite born there, I think that qualifies as division by 0.

Pretty sure I've heard Saskatchewan called Saskabush a lot more than I've ever heard it called the other two listed there.

What? The periodic table has been updated and modified many times throughout history.
Quote:
In Mendeleev's original table, each period was the same length. However, because larger atoms have more electron sub-shells, modern tables have progressively longer periods further down the table.[29]
In the years following publication of Mendeleev's periodic table, the gaps he identified were filled as chemists discovered additional naturally occurring elements. It is often stated that the last naturally occurring element to be discovered was francium (referred to by Mendeleev as eka-caesium) in 1939.[30] However, plutonium, produced synthetically in 1940, was identified in trace quantities as a naturally occurring primordial element in 1971.[31]
The production of various transuranic elements has expanded the periodic table significantly, the first of these being neptunium, synthesized in 1939.[32] Because many of the transuranic elements are highly unstable and decay quickly, they are challenging to detect and characterize when produced, and there have been controversies concerning the acceptance of competing discovery claims for some elements, requiring independent review to determine which party has priority, and hence naming rights. The most recently named element is copernicium (number 112), named on 19 February 2010;[33] the most recently accepted discoveries are ununquadium (114) and ununhexium (116), both accepted on 1 June 2011.[34]
