LF: Someone in the US to purchase something for me

There is something I would like to buy from Amazon.com but they will not ship it to Canada.

Is there anyone here located in the US that is coming to Calgary any time soon? Or else, anyone who wouldn't mind being a shipping intermediary for me?

Alternatively, is there anyone in Calgary with the game Cards Against Humanity in good condition who will sell it to me? I'm looking for three copies of it.

A year back or so I called them and they said they're only receivers and don't re-ship things up to Canada. (aka mail forwarding). They said you've got to drive down to them to pickup items shipped to them.

That's the problem, I don't really want to drive down there to get it. When are you going to pick your two orders up? Care to make it three, and I'll pay 1/3 of your gas or something?

No unfortunately as far as I know it's only available from Amazon.com.

I'll keep the good people of this thread in mind; I'm always angry that Amazon doesn't ship a lot of things to Canada (or charges $$$ for it).

It's not always Amazon's fault. A lot of brands have distribution agreements that deny cross-border shipping to protect the retailers in Canada. K2, Ride, and Line for example prohibit any dealers from shipping out of the US to a Canadian address.

Since I all ready bought the Kegerator I was supposed to wait to buy till these chairs are gone. If I knew you were heading to the boarder I would have just bought an American one and tagged along/paid you to get it
