On the topic of "Lifetime Suspensions" the VERY FIRST THING I do when I see that under someone's name is click on the name and go to their statistics to see their last few posts and see what went on.
Don't even know why but I just can't help it.

Flames fans are suspended every day. Do you want us to list off hundreds and hundreds of names? |

No doubt, what a dumb post. Is he honestly suggesting that only fans of rival teams are banned?

If this thread shows anything, it's that the moderating team here are pretty even handed, no matter who you cheer for, or how long you've been here.

I don't know if Hockey was suggesting anything by that, could have just been a simple question.

I didn't mean it the way it sounded. I should say any higher profile CP members been suspended. I guess Hoot and ReggieDunlop. I guess whenA Canuck fan gets banned everyone hears about it and a Flames fan suspension flys under the radar.

Flames fans do get a little bit more leeway on here which is totally understandable and I agree that they should.

Maybe when it's personal attacks then everyone gets treated the same regardless of what team you cheer for. I was talking about any Flames fan can trash the Canucks, their fans and the city alot on here, but if a fan of another team trashes anything to do with Calgary and the Flames their leash is alot shorter.

And for the record I'm not complaining, I'm simply just discussing.

I wouldn't call this thread flying under the radar. Are threads created when random Canuck fans are banned?

This thread really brings back some memories. I don't actually recall that much myself but some of the names being brought up sure ring a bell.
The mods have always done a pretty good job of keeping things civil around here.

Who was that Canucks fan who talked about prank calling the bar in Boston and asking for a Stanley cup sandwich? I don't miss him.

Of course, it's a Flames fan forum, there's going to be a slant. This is hardly surprising or unreasonable.

What is surprising is when a Canucks fan registers and expects to be able to walk into someone else's house and trash talk the place.

I mean I may not like someone and may talk about their questionable parentage among my friends, but if I end up in their house I'm going to be respectful to their mother, and thank them for their hospitality.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work that way, and we STILL get 30-50% of new users registering on this site are Canucks fans, and they're obviously not coming here for the great coverage of the Canucks.

Ya it was him, as far as I can tell he seems to have toned it downs bit on other sites, still a ###### but not as bad.
