Default hope the Gazoo guy doesn't get any ideas from this...

Man lets all of his wild animals loose and commits suicide. Hilarity ensues.

Why does a guy with a farm in Ohio have Bengal tigers to begin with?

Heh fair enough. I guess I could if I would. Maybe what I'm asking is why do the laws allow this?

I actually knew (or knew of, was on the property that was rented out for a wedding party) of a guy who had moved from Russia (or the USSR) many years previous and brought with him two yaks, and two Siberian tigers. Local livestock officials (I imagine Alberta law of some sort) allowed him to keep the yaks, but the tigers had to be donated to a zoo. As the story went, they went to the Vancouver zoo.

EDIT: I can't even imagine what would be the process for bringing two tigers and two yaks from Russia. Course the further back you go, rich people brought game and weird pets from all corners of the world.

Haha as an NFL fan, the way this is worded is actually pretty funny.

And I don't really get the Gazoo reference, clearly there's a Flintstones episode I'm mis-remembering.

As tragic that it is that innocent animals are being killed because of some moron, you cannot deny that this sign is hilarious.

If I understand the story correctly, he let all the animals out then killed himself? Why would someone do that? If so, what a dooshbag.

I select the wolf on account that the monkey apparently has herpes. The second that monkey goes to fill his valtrex prescription the pool is mine.

Did it actually get shut down? I thought I read an article the other day about some turtle or something at GuZoo.

I figure he knew he wanted to kill himself anyways, and felt remorse for leaving his animals so in some insane humane way - thought killing them all before he Off'd himself would be better.

Shut down temporarily, I'm pretty sure it's open for business again.

Don't they have wolves in Ohio anyways..just let the thing go unless it starts harrassing people.

Also, if ####ty family movies have taught me anything, a lonely child has already befriended the monkey and hides him by dressing him up in his grandmother's clothes. If only he can escape that heartless sheriff who wants to shoot the monkey and the equally heartless pharmaceutical plant owner who wants to use him for cosmetic testing. Damn...I should work for hollywood.
