Credit Cards
So i have been using my RBC Rewards Classic 2 credit card for a while and am finally redeeming my points. I figured that since i am basically starting from scratch with my points i would ask you guys What is the best bang for your buck card? ie Annual fees, Airline ticket to points conversion etc.

I'd hang onto the points, swap it over to an Infinite Avion card, and bam, all those points can now be redeemed for flights! It's a pretty awesome system imo, well worth the fees.

I'd do the same for just your name and cc number, plus the street you lived on as a kid, your favourite pet's name, and your mother's maiden name... oh, and that 3 digit thingy on the back of your cc... and maybe expiry date too.

I think the Capital One Aspire Platinum keeps getting picked as the best air travel rewards card.

exactly! It's perfectly safe to give out just your name, address and cc number. You should post your to prove how safe it is

How many points do you have? I redeemed mine last time around for two $250 Futureshop gift cards, and bought a surround sound system. With tax, I paid $8 out of pocket.
You get a much better bang for the buck than if you redeem for items directly.

My credit limit isn't nearly enough to make it worthwhile for anybody. You could just wait for a wealthy-looking, loud talker on a cell-phone to make a credit card purchase.

Moneysense just ranked all the cards one issue ago, and they confirmed what was said in those previous threads - MBNA Cashback card is the best cash-back card and the Capital One Aspire is the best travel card. However, for Aspire I think you need min $70,000 income.

I have an Amex Aeroplan Gold and a Visa Infinate Avion. I like them both, I can use the Amex at Costco.
