Ask them to make it lumberjack size, and they will charge you 10 bucks for it.
Hmm, is it the same price as a regular Lumberjack, or does it depend on the toppings?

Also what do you have against mustard MRC? I can see the mayo as it is pretty unhealthy, but nothing wrong with mustard (unless it's the taste).

Yeah, I tried having them make me one once for lunch, that was painful. Having the pre-fab ones is part of the value, but it'd be nice if they made them plain, and gave free packets of mayo, etc.

Taste. My tongue rejects it. Mayo is totally for health.

Mustard is good if you get a very, very...very small amount of it.

Yuck, when I used to go to subway and order a sandwich that goes well with mustard, they'd always load like half a cup of it on there. I never order mustard anymore. It's always italian sub sauce for me.

I go to the Brentwood Safeway next to London Drugs, and I just ask them to make it on the Lumberjack Loaf, and whatever the Lumberjack price is that day, they charge you. They just give you the same proportions of meat and cheese to fill the size of the bread I think. The things usually lasts me 3 meals.

$8.99 for whatever you can dream up, and the equivelant of 2 to 3 Subway subs for weight/volume. And the use real cheese, and quality meats:

Looking for something to gnaw on all Sunday during the NFL season?:

Safeway Lumberjack Sub. The sub they make in A LOAF, not a bun.
They are good, I was eating one at work one time, and a guy figured it was the same mass as eating an inflated football.

Good to hear you have some standards

I agree but. I'm sure in Europe I was eating scalloped potatoes a few times with mustard. sasuages and scalloped potatoes, but covered in mustard. I know I've done it since at home when having Ham, and Scalloped potatoes, I'll put mustard on both.

Used to be pretty good actually until they changed owners.

Calgary is really lacking in the area of good independent burger joints. Boogie's is the best. CB is terrible. Peter's is over-rated. Blah.

If you want to kick it 80's style you can hit up Bob's Hamburgers in the SE but its not the same as the old chain.

Burger Burger downtown was great but is closed.

We need better burgers.

Sadly I have yet to experience Alley Burger.

Worst Burger in town (and definitely appropriate for this thread): Billy Burger on Edmonton Trail.

How in the name of all that is holy, is that vile place still open?

As someone who works a stones throw away from billy burger I can say without a doubt possibly the worst food in one of the dirtiest places to eat. It is usually frequented by cops and city workers thats why its still open.
