I think he did until the "lend me your vote" thing. I think it's a poor way of phrasing things. With that word i think he admits that in the future his party has no hope of being anything other than the 12-16% vote getter and unless there are continual minority governments his party won't matter. Better to say clarify or expand on it by saying "Come over to us. We have many of the same concerns and we'll get things done. If you vote for us we don't believe you'll ever vote for anyone ele again".

The whole "lend us your vote" is just not a strong enough statement the last week of an election. Atleast IMO.

This just shows the desparation of the Liberal party. I must say they've been almost unbeatable in the past. But with all the scandals, and the simple fact that most people are getting tired of them, it's easy to see why they are where they are.

It was good timing for the Conservatives to persue a more modest right wing stance.

I just seems that the once all powerful Liberals (the ones that were always two steps ahead) are now playing catch up.
Even if you don't like the Liberals, it's refreshing to see Canada become a two party dominated state once again.

And one more time...an article claiming that Martin is trying to say that Harper is scary.

Again, and Lurch take note, this is not an excuse for losing by the Cons...its a blatent decree from the Libs.

In there he says he has never doubted Harper's patriotism...correct me if I'm wrong but he didn't he do just that before Christmas? hence the whole re-flagging retort.
