Looking for something similar to this:


Found it on an American site that does not ship to Canada. If anyone knows of a local Calgary retailer that carries something similar that would be great, random internet searches aren't really turning up anything.

If not I would even have a local woodworker build one if anyone knows a good guy to deal with, I'd go that route as well.

Chintz and Co. has them. I'd call and get a price first though, some of their stuff is expensive.

If you can't find anything locally, you could always set up with a shipping service south of the border, order from the US site, and drive down to get it.

My thoughts were: Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel and Restoration Hardware.

I see older ones in antique stores quite often, and I'm looking for one too. There's an antique joint on 8th street and 34th Ave SE called Inside Antiques (or something) that had some a few weeks ago.

These are Calgary retailers? I haven't heard of any of them

Pottery Barn is in Chinook mall.
Restoration Hardware and Crate & Barrel are in Southcentre mall.
