Stampeders need to mix up plays on offense and not be one-dimensional pass-pass-pass. We have two of the best running back in the CFL in Reynolds and Cornish and one of the best running QB in Burris. Burris is dangerous when he's got a lot of options. He can run the ball if he has to or do a QB sneak. Or he can throw the ball short and let Nik Lewis and Rambo do their thing, or he can throw a deep ball to Bryant or Forzani. Keep the Riders' defense guessing all night. On defense, pressuring Darian Durant usually works wonder. He gets rattled when someone is on his face all the time and he tend to make some bad decision. No Fantusz to throw to...

I can feel that this is the game Stamps offense will explode and score at least 3 TD majors. Burris will throw 300+ yards and Reynolds will get over 100+ yards rushing. Defense will get at least 2 QB sacks and maybe 2+ interceptions as well.

Let the games begin!!! GO STAMPS GO!!!

I noticed that more and more teams are using shotgun formations these days. What is the advantage of the shotgun formation than the traditional formation where the QB is just behind the centre?

BC was using the direct snap out of the shotgun..it seemed to work "ok" Also it can give you more time VS fast rushing teams and teams that blitz a lot.

Just found this.

	http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shotgun_formationQuote:

		| Use in Canadian football At times the formation has been more common in Canadian football, which allows only three downs to move nine yards downfield instead of the American game's four. Canadian teams are therefore more likely to find themselves with long yardage to make on the penultimate down, and therefore more likely to line up in the shotgun to increase their opportunities for a large gain. Teams such as the Saskatchewan Roughriders use the shotgun for a vast majority of their plays.
