So the guy who the police killed used to rent my friend's house. My friend was living in the basement of the house at the time and had to let the wife into his suite because he (dead guy) was beating her up so bad and she was afraid for her safety. They'd send their kids to the internet cafe all night while they'd smoke crack. That ended his tenancy.

Are there varying degrees of beating your woman? A minor black eye is not enough for her to be afraid for her safety? Buddy needed to really lay the boots to her before she got scared?
J/k, Hulk.

The whole woman beating thing just baffles me. I used to date a girl from Toronto who had multiple friends that got beaten regularly. WTF? Who are these girls that put up with that? And who are these guys that are smacking around chicks and still showing their face in public the next day? I'll tell ya, if one of my buddies knocked around his woman one night, he'd get it from the rest of us the next day.

Logic and societal norms do not apply to poor people. Nascar 'an beetin' wemen goes together like ketchup and a hotdogs anyweys. How does you think they release there stress from a hard day framing?

There's definitely some weirdness with how the human brain works in the victim of abuse. I was dating a girl who had been abused; even went so far as to help her move to another city so that she would be safe. She broke it off with me because "she couldn't stand not knowing when the beatings were going to start."

Guys- if you are beating your woman; it's time to be a "real man" and get some help. Not just for the worst case scenario like this case; but the psychological damage you are causing to somebody you supposedly love.

Gimp you need to get yourself a big a$$ dog or get some barbed wire put ontop of that fence to keep the riff raff out.

I would definitely do punji sticks but worried about my dog, and don't want to injure police.

I'll go watch Temple of Doom and get back to you!

I would just put up some fake camera's and put up a TON of security stickers, I'd also padlock my gate with a key lock

Have you shown the police your videos? you never know they might recognize someone from the videos and make an arrest. I know some of them are wearing facemasks but a cop in this area probably knows the criminals and can recognize the bodies as well.

Move.

That's not an indictment of the area, but a move would probably work out for you if these criminals don't know where you move to. That or some of them need a good beating by one of your friends as they try and break in.

well just talked to the city and im going to apply for a permit to build a 10' high fence. Was also told that there is no bylaw against barbed wire. Basically as long as its not an eye sore it's ok.

who wants to install barbed wire for cash?

Puckluck: yes showed them, they didn't really have much to say.

Man, I don't know your situation FG, but if I had seemingly constant break in attempts I'd move.

Also, there seriously isn't a bylaw against barbed wire on residential properties?

Forget barbwire, get those spikes for the top of the fence, you could even get the kind meant to keep pigeons off.
