You read it though. Likely several accounts of it. With avid interest, given how worked up you are over it.

Well we now have to take this dummy more seriously I guess, because Michael Moore has thrown his "support" behind her.

Unlike other people I really don't care that she was able to pull this off nor do I harbour any angst against her move. In the end she's out a couple of month's income and she's gained noteriety among other moonbats like herself.

Colour me disappointed. I was persuaded to vote by Mrs. Impaler only because of the wish to see the hidden agenda finally implemented and in the hope that I might hear the jack-boots of right-wing stormtroopers in the streets of Ottawa. I fully expected this little moron to be dealt with in the appropriate fashion (bullet in the back of the head in the basement of the Museum of Civilization), but I have to admit I am beginning to lose faith in Harper and his credentials as a right-winger...

If you think that this stunt is really important, then you need to re-evaluate your sense of priority.
To me, this stunt is just like the streaker at a baseball/football game. It is detrimental to the game, and should not be publicized for fear of promoting it and preventing the REAL important stuff from occurring.

If there was a streaker at the Saddledome witnessed by thousands of people and the Calgary Herald or the Calgary Sun were legally barred from reporting on the incident, do you not think it would end up a CalgaryPuck topic of conversation?
Don't be ridiculous.
The DePape incident (which BTW I thought was rather foolish) was witnessed by hundreds in person and broadcast live across the country.
The Soviet Union was probably good at suppressing reportage of incidents like that which happened at the Duma. Is that what you want?

I don't think anybody is suggesting that the incident be suppressed - report the incident by all means. However, giving a stupid kid a forum to spout off soundbytes is hardly necessary. If the 'reporters' actually asked questions with substance I would bet that the kid would not be able to back up her message with anything other than superficial factoids.

Yes, that's exactly what people are suggesting.
You cannot report an "unspecified incident" without following up with the who and why.
And unfortunately, all manner of stupid people are afforded an opportunity to spout off, including elected and appointed government officials.

So give the specifics - Dumbass student (replace with name) interrupted a session today blah blah. When questioned about her motives he/she was unable to provide any blah blah. End story.

To me, I'm not sure I think this took that much "courage". She knew she was toast soon, she knew she would lose her job (again, a job she was losing in a few months anyway) and was hoping for her 15 minutes of fame so she could hopefully get a job.
She apparently can't do reasonable math nor does she understand how our system of democracy works. She came across as a giggly teenager in the interview I saw of her, and has proven her lack of trustworthiness. Hopefully, her 15 minutes will soon be up.
