Capital punishment would be such a easy and painless (so they say) way for him to go.
They need to either lock him up for eternity, or make sure he gets beaten to death in prison. I'd prefer the latter, but no way does he deserve a needle. That would be just to easy for him.
I would rather have him gone than beaten up and released in ten years time so he can prey on another helpless child.

We should ship this guy to a State-side prison...I think they would know how to treat him better than any Canadian prison would be able to. Sick freak better get a heavy, heavy sentence and not one of those limp wristed typical Canadian ones.
I hope this kid somehow finds a way to be a normal kid one day I wonder if there is any remote chance the mental aspects of the attack will have limited long term effects because he's so young?
Article says there is physical damage that will have long-lasting concequences.

Who's saying anything about giving him a needle. I'm thinking death by impalement, old school Vlad the Impaler style. I agree this guy should not get an easy out.
Just.. ugh.. just wow. I am a parents, and unless something goes "wrong" anytime soon I won't be one for a little while either... I am an Uncle to a beautiful baby girl who is.. 6 weeks old. I'm sure for many posted here this hits home but man... looking at her, holding her.. how the hell could you do that to a baby.. a baby...! man alive.
There is something really wrong there, something really wrong.
I am not a praying man, so I hope and wish upon a star that this child can recover from his injuries, even if it looks bleak... being so young it won't effect him mentally at all, and I think we can all hope he never knows what someone so sick did to him.
To the child this happened to, I wish you a full recovery, stay strong little guy.
you guys know that guards will do their best to turn their backs and let the general prison population have their way with him? Child molestation is the lowest you can go and the other criminals generally mess these guys up really bad. He'll get what he deserves and more for years and years.

Deservedly so, BUT we will be paying to feed, clothe and attempt to rehabilitate this SOB. I'm sorry but one bullet to the back of his head would be fine by me.

I'd rather know he was raped to death in prison. Punishment fits the crime.
I work with incarcerated youth, a large percentage of them have been victims of abuse and/or neglect. The crap that was done to this baby, is unfortunately, not as uncommon as you would hope. You would be surprised at how many shiat-bag parents are out there, and really, just how many total shiat-bag people in general are amongst the rest of us on a daily basis.
I've seen some kids that have gone through stuff like this get close to normal and some that are so damaged emotionally, that it is doubtful that they will ever live anything approaching a functional life...relationships, employment, sobriety, happiness, freedom, etc.
I hate to admit it, but the majority of the kids that I have worked with in circumstance such as these, don't recover emotionally. Even when the abuse happens at such a young age...it is rarely a one time event, and it rarely happens in otherwise healthy families...PTSD, RAD (reactive attachment disorder), conduct disorder, substance abuse, etc. are likely to result.
It's well documented that many of the perpetrators of such abuse were perped on when they were children as well...normal people don't do this kind of shiat...that is one of the many things that really sucks about such crimes.
It sounds barbaric, but I really feel that if someone is found indisputably guilty of such crimes... they should be taken out back and put down. Rehabilitation is rare and too much is risked if it fails.
On that happy note, I'm going to crack open a beer and cheer on the Bruins. Good luck kid.
