For an IPS monitor, yes seriously and a seriously good price.
For those that can't stand TN garbage.

I'm seriously debating getting this monitor. I've been using my 42" Toshiba Regza as both my TV and computer monitor for the last several years now, and I love it, but I kind of want an actual dedicated monitor and to be able to use my TV as just a TV. Anybody know what revision these monitors are on?

That monitor is worth the $500 I paid for it 5 months ago.
However, I did notice that the regular price dropped from 699 to 599, and the current deal only pushes it to previous sale prices.
If they have some $200-$270 off deals at the 599 regular price (like they did for the 699 price), I don't think I could stop myself from buying a 2nd one.

I'm just hoping I don't get "monitor envy" by downgrading from a 42" (which I still sit about 3-4 feet away from) to a 24". I suppose it probably won't be that big of a deal though, as I use a 19" at work and it doesn't feel that horribly small, and going from 19"-24" is still an ~60% increase in screen area.

Oh I'm sure they will. When the colour laser goes on sale I'll have an interesting day resisting.

Oh man... kind of want an IPS monitor, kind of want a 3D Vision monitor, or maybe wait for a monitor that's both? Wish I had more time to decide.

Entry level server for $500 today. Of course once I was done customizing it I was up to $4900.

That KVM switch looks interesting. I don't want it for file transfers but it would be nice to control two computers with one set of keyboard/mouse.

Check out a program called synergy. I just installed it and it works great...very neat program. Essentially a KVM switch without the video (so just share a keyboard and mouse) but it is perfect for my needs.

Who uses VGA cables anymore, a KVM needs to be DVI to be of any use these days (unless for servers).
Just set up VNC or something similar.

At a high enough resolution I think you can, images can really look fuzzy. Heck even before LCDs to get good quality at really high resolutions you needed coaxial cable and BNC connectors.
At what resolution you'll be able to see a noticeable degradation depends on the connectors, the cable quality, the video card noise filters and DAC, etc.
DVI is digital so either you get the perfect image, or you get snow.

I think it's woth noting (seeing as Dell has decided to have absolutely no description of the device they are selling)- that the Streak is locked to the Rogers network.
And here I thought it was a phone. Didn't realize it was a tablet.

So I bought the U2410... hopefully no buyer's remorse over not sticking with sRGB.
