There was a big change in Ontario too. Conservatives getting 72/106

They're just going through all the leaders in order of their speeches. They'll give Mr. Harper props as well as soon as Mr. Layton is done preening.

CP is on FIRE with these threads lately. Two new additions to the HoF in the last two days I think.

I wonder if Layton realizes that Canadian families can actually do stuff by themselves without numerous gubbermint cheques in the mail.

with harper's vendictive streak, a majority could be the worst thing for the NDP. I think he'll destroy them over the next 4 years.

He has to appease Quebec now. If you look at what he did outside of Quebec, his party only gained about 8 seats. That's not much of a change at all. Sure, he bribed Quebec and got their support, but when he shows them that he can't do anything for them from an opposition standpoint in a CPC majority government, I can't imagine he will retain that support.

Was that post obnoxious? Seems many CPC supporters consider Rob Anders to be a clown and are embarrassed that they have to vote for him to support their party.

The NDP will destroy themselves - with promises they can't keep, rookie MP mistakes and poor conduct.

don't overlook the fact that Harper won the ethnic vote this election as well. That's a biggie.
